    1. Evie the Mist Fairy is one of a series of books about weather Fairies. Rachel and Kirsty are good friends and often talk about visiting Fairyland together. Rachel had been staying at Kirsty’s for a week and they’d always talk about their dreams that they had in Fairyland. However one morning, on the day of Mum’s fun day run, Rachel and Kirsty were walking in the forest when it suddenly became filled with mist. In the distance they saw a glowing light and instantly that it was Evie the Mist [...]

    2. This book made me laugh at the stupidity (apparently you can say stupid in a kid's book) of goblins and how quickly a couple of girls and find a resolution to a serious problem. Anyway, this book gave more descriptive language which I liked. Other than that it is the usual Rainbow Magic book. Simple and straight to the point.

    3. I really liked Evie the Mist Fairy, because (view spoiler)[ the goblin acted so funny when the fairies saw him! (hide spoiler)]

    4. My four year old daughter loves these! And SURPRISE! my two year old son will actually sit and listen to one at a time. (Not two back to back though, have to get out a "boy" book after one of these, still, pretty impressive that he'll sit through it!) They are VERY predictable, and not so magical for me, not like "the little white horse" or "the never girls" BUT they are perfect, quick reads for my daughter and a great transition between picture books and chapter books. There are small pencil dr [...]

    5. I like these books cause they have pixies in them. I like all of the subjects that all of these fairies do. Evie, she is a mist fairy and she knows how to make the mist feather. The mist feather if you wave it around it makes mist but if you wave it around too much it would make fog. All these fairies know one thing that is the same--how to trick the goblins to get the seven feathers back to Doodle. Doodle is a rooster. So in fairy world he is a vain rooster but he is alive--like he talks. In ou [...]

    6. Evie the Mist Fairy's magic feather is missing and is causing everywhere in Fairyland and the human world to be misty and foggy.Kristy and Rachel have to help Evie find it and return it to Fairyland's weather rooster,Doodle. He chooses what the weather will be like each day and night. So if he picked snowy, Crystal would use the Snow feather,if he picked breezy, Abigail would use the Breeze feather,if he picked cloudy, Pearl would use the Cloud feather,if he picked sunny, Goldie wold use the Sun [...]

    7. This is the fifth of seven books in the "Weather Fairies" series by the group of authors who go by the name Daisy Meadows. It's a fun series, especially for young girls who are starting to read chapter books. Our oldest is addicted and I am encouraging it since I am confident that these books will help her develop a love for reading! She reads them on her own and will sometimes read aloud to me. I have been reading them along with her (at first I was irritated by them, but now they amuse me and [...]

    8. I liked Evie because it was so misty that nobody could see and the racers accidentally ran into each other. Rachel and Kristy found the goblin and he saw a runner who he thought was a doodle woodle - who are make believe. Goblins are afraid of doodle woodles and the girls scared the goblin by pretending to be one and saying, "I'm hungry for a goblin" Then the golin said, "n n n noooo! Eat these girls instead." "I don't eat girls, I only eat goblins" said the fake Doodle Woodle. "I'm going to cha [...]

    9. Evie the mist fairy is lost in the fog without her magic mist feather. A sparkly trail of fairy dust lead Rachel, Kirsty and the frightened fairy out of the shadowy forest.Jack Frost's Goblins are messing the the feather that belongs to Evie the Mist Fairy. When the goblin shakes the feather it makes more fog in the forest. Rachel and Kirsty went to the forest because they went to go see Rachel’s mom run.Rachel and Kirsty scared the goblin by saying there are bulldozer chasing them. He got scar [...]

    10. Having read a 7 year old daughter I have read a fair number of these fairy books. If you read too many of them in a row (at least as an adult) they get a bit repetitive. However, I felt that the writing in Evie was much more descriptive and interesting than the last ones I'd read in this series. So either the calibre of the writing really was better or it had just been a long enough break since the last time we read one of these. :). But as a parent anytime your children find something they enjo [...]

    11. gggggggggggggggggggggggggrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrreeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaattttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttt!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!it is a bit misty, but great !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!ohyeah!!!!!!!!!!gggggggggggggggoooooooooooooooooooooooddddddddddddddddddddddddd,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,dddddooont't ya think??it's gggggggggggggggooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo ooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo [...]

    12. Another in the Weather Fairies series, this one is about Evie and a lost weather feather which causes mist.Rachel and Kirsty go to watch some adults run a race and end up in a wooded area filled with mist. Plus one magical fairy. Plus one goblin and one weather feather.Their task is to get the feather from the goblin, and they work up a rather funny scheme to do just that. Again, it's a rather humorous story in the series, although I wish the artwork was better.

    13. it was a very misty morning because a goblin was waving the mist feather all arounden the goblin gave it to Evie to clear it away so he got back with no magic feather.Auryn 7yoI also read this book in 2015

    14. I liked when Kristy's parents did the race. I also really liked when Evie the mist fairy when she was making the scary voice because the goblin was being really REALLY jealous! Also I liked when Kristy and Rachel returned the feather to doodle the chicken.

    15. Abby's (5) loving the Weather Fairies books. They're cute stories with the same basic plot in each book two frinds help the weather fairies to get the weather feathers back from the goblins that Jack Frost has sent out to steam them. Cute, predictable stories.

    16. Evie the mist fairy is the next fairy that Rachel and Kirsty meet and must get the mist feather back. When a steam of mist gets in the way of runners in Wetherbury Rachel and Kirsty know that this is work of Jack Frost and the fact that Doodle does not have his mist feather back.

    17. the least impressive of the weather fairies so far. it was so dumb to have adults in a marathon running into each other. they scared the goblin essentially exploiting a goblin for goblins story and making him think it was real.
