    1. Illinois Weddings is a joy to read. Following the lives of three generations of women in this three-in-one collection, Becky Melby and Cathy Wienke create characters that are both believable and likable. The first story describes Angel, the youngest of the women. Facing tremendous real-life challenges, she is an inspiration to those trying to find a Christian moral “compass” in today’s society.
