    1. So Spider-woman's sexy ass is a agent for Hydra! Wait wait, is she? Who is she playing, how far is she a double agent, what is happening? Oh who the fuck is Ronin? Where my boy Sentry crazy ass? Well this volume is more for the street level dudes. Got Cap, Spidey, Wolvie, and new friend Ronin going to Japan. We just had to get the fucking Hand involved didn't we? They never very interesting. Also we have to deal with Jessica (Spider-woman) and her being a Hydra agent. But then we find out she's [...]

    2. I really enjoyed this Bendis penned tale of the New Avengers. Volume three has a little bit of everything- a roll out of new members, a new hero, ninjas and Hydra. All of it beautifully drawn. The story begins with Captain America badgering Daredevil about joining the New Avengers (who so far are- Cap, Spiderwoman, Iron man, Luke Cage, Spiderman and soon the Sentry). So considering the makeup of this team, I can see why the addition of a Daredevil would be useful. But, this is happening during th [...]

    3. Really enjoyed this too. Sorry for spamming everyone with comics these last couple of days, but I'm preparing myself for my last exam this semester, and comics are so easy to read on the side. When my exam is done I'll get back into real books.

    4. Were I not buying these volumes for my 13-year-old little bro, I would probably stop reading the series at this point. (But since he likes The New Avengers a lot and I'm trying to encourage him to read for pleasure, I will continue to buy them and read them before I give them to him.) The appearance of dinosaurs in Volume 1 made me think that the writer of the series, Brian Michael Bendis, might actually be a 12-year-old boy, and the barrage of ninjas yes, ninjas in this volume made me wonder [...]

    5. I still continue to enjoy reading this series. I never really liked Spiderman all that much until now. I appreciate his sense of humor. The double agent stuff is really interesting, especially since the reader really doesn't know the whole story and which way things are leaning. This is a series Marvel (and especially Avengers) fans should read.

    6. It's a brand new world. This set, 11-15, focuses on Spider-Woman's secret and ends with a public announcement of the new roster, which doesn't go as well as they'd hoped. I am currently reading this New Avengers line up of Wolverine, Luke Cage, Jessica Drew, etc. along with a nonfiction book called "I Wear the Black Hat," which explores our fascination with villains and includes a section on vigilantismd will eventually get around to dealing with the anti-hero, I hope. The "classic" Avengers wer [...]

    7. Silver Samurai (11-13). A nice follow-up to the initial arc's prison escape, a nice continuation of the SHIELD conspiracy arc, and best of all an interesting introduction to a conflicted Jessica Drew but the fight against the Hand is very dull [5+/10].Spider-Woman & The Unveiling (G-S SW, 14-15). Fortunately, the next arc's much stronger. The story of Spider-Woman's return is great because it's both a personal character story, and the sort of spy story that she does great in. Meanwhile, the [...]

    8. Mmmmhm. Yep, not as fun.I've discovered, I really don't like Carol Danvers circa 2004-07.The Jessica Drew shit is solid, esp. The old issues.Ronin? Meh, Echo? Who? Nope. Also Sentry gone but itmakes sense as the mental strain from last volume took time to get over. Why does Ms. marvel hang around like a mall rat at Avengers tower??? I wanna play too dudes?

    9. Found SHIELD and Hydra's conspiracies to be entertaining and we see the PR nightmare that the Avengers have faced since their inception in **Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes**.Didn't think JJJ would be such a jerk.

    10. This one focused on Spider-Woman and what's she's up to double agenting everywhere. Having already read Secret Invasion this kind of blows my mind that Bendis had that planned from the start! Echo popped up briefly as Ronin, and she seems pretty cool.

    11. Silver Samurai and Viper guest star in the 3 part Ronin. Followed by a Spider-Woman story and Ms. Marvel hanging around the mansion before the New Avengers go public.

    13. Lots of fun to read an Avengers comic. Only, too bad it's open-ended. Don't know if I can get my hands on the next part. Loved the humor, the banter between the heroes.

    14. Why did I wait so long to get into this series? Why did I let one missing volume stop me?? It's so EPIC!!

    15. Spider-Woman took the spotlight in this stretch that may be Brian Michael Bendis’s high point in the early going of New Avengers. The mysterious ninja hero Ronin cut a swath through the Japanese criminal world at Captain America’s behest. The Avengers found themselves in Japan, caught in a melee involving Hydra, Viper, the Yakuza, the Hand and Silver Samurai. Fans learned Ronin’s real identity and the mysterious hero’s next mission. Meanwhile, Spider-Woman’s true loyalties were in ques [...]

    16. Kerry is a strong woman. She has to be her boyfriend has broken up with her, her whole dorm hates her, thanks to the roommate from hell, and she's alone. Until she runs into Nate, his beautiful body and his gorgeous blue eyes She feels things inside that she has never felt before. As Volume 3 opens up, Kerry finds herself trying to figure out why Nate is trying to push her away. She has broken her relationship with Carter into small little pieces that may never be able to be put back together an [...]

    17. Yorumun aslı ve devamı Yorum Cadısı'nda. The New Avengers, çizgi romana yeni başlayacaklar için muhteşem bir tercih!

    18. So, this one is about aftermath and picking up the pieces. I find the series to have too large a cast, hard to follow the direction of the action, changing loyalties even more swiftly than soap operas. It is messy, lacks finesse and cunning.I did like these two quotes:"And no one handles it with more humanity and humility and humor than the Cap. This isn't some super-soldier serum, this is the man."Steve: While I'm not one for speeches, I did want to speak to you briefly about what the Avengers [...]

    19. Collects New Avengers issues #11-15 and the lead story from Giant-Size Spider-Woman #1In this collection, the new team of Avengers is revealed to the public. What will people, like J. Jonah Jameson, think about the new line-up (specifically Spider-Man being on the team)? One of the Avengers has a big secret, and it is revealed in this volume. Some new heroes are teased as being potential new members of the roster. Two characters there were prominent in the previous volumes, Wolverine and Sentry, ba [...]

Şimdi sırada kitabın son bölümünde de geçen "House of M" olayını aynı adlı kitabı okuyarak öğrenmekte. Bakalım karakterlerimizin başına o böl [...]

    21. The New Avengers are up against Hydra once again. Hydra plans to free the Silver Samurai, while Captain America recruits the Ronin and the duplicitous Spider-Woman spills some of her secrets (or lies?). While this might all sound interesting, it is not executed very well, and the story moves from character to character in a rushed way that makes it difficult to care much about them; this is true even for the Ronin, who has a forced and try-hard feel to him. The ending was a bit too quick and ope [...]

    22. I learned The New Avengers are quite possibly my new favorite super hero team. I mean, Spiderman in Black with Wolverine and Dr. Strange in a single teamy it ain't so!The best part of this book was the idea of a heroine that passed herself off as a man and kicked the shit out of people on a regular basis. She used her seductive ways to get inside the minds of the Yakuza at sleezy bars, and then would pummel them with her new found information. As Stan Lee would say, 'Nuff said.
