    1. Magic and Grace is a good choice for a summer read. It is a fairly quick read that has a sense of humor that shows the importance of relationships and how they are never perfect. Gibb Chapman is a childish adult. He is a writer who just finished his first book, and claims he will never write another. He screws up his marriage, drinks in excess, and just happens to be financially sound thanks to his talented mother. After his wife divorces him, Gibb decides he wants to be a better person, for his [...]

    2. I won this book from GoodReads and Fingerpress Ltd. Thank you. This is a story about the main character making some poor choices in his life. Though he is trying to do better by giving up drinking and drugs he is still messing up in other areas. It is always good to stop and think before you act and what the consequence of your actions will be--He Didn't. He has an ex-wife and a young daughter that he loves and wants back in his life, the three of them, a family again.I did not care for some of t [...]

    3. I thoroughly enjoyed this story. The characters were real, everyday people who made mistakes and leaned from them. They were funny and quirky in a way which I could relate to. The author takes the reader through a gamut of emotions; from laughter to sadness, from frustration to humility. All the while, there is a bit of poetic insight in the prose which only adds to the depth. I recommend this read!

    4. I picked up this book because it is set in Naples, Florida, where I lived for a few years. I didn't expect much more than a little bit of reminiscing, but was pleasantly surprised that, even though it is not award winning writing, I also enjoyed the story.

    5. This is a sweet little story, not world changing, but a very nice read none the less. It's well written and a work of love by the author.
