    1. On the one hand, this short story finally bring Mary-Lynnette and Ash together in a way the book left off achingly shy of. On the other hand, Ash is so frantic and not himself in this short that it's almost surreal. Glad he met his goals in his amends and finally went after Mary-Lynnette, but also once again left hanging where there is no real conclusion for the desperate soulmates. They just can't seem to get a break.

    2. What happened? When did the characters we all know and love turn into really bad cardboard cut outs. Like Crayola crayon drawn cartoon on cardboard cut outs? THAT WAS NOT ASH!Oh, there would be more but I just threw up in my mouth a little just thinking about this

    3. Ah, Ash, I love you so. I love Ash and Mary-Lynnette's story. They were both so relunctant to love each other even though they're meant to be together. I hope we hear more about them.

I was glad that I finally could see what Sarah Strange was like as it may be awhile before Strange Fate is published. And when they were reunited it was everything that I had hoped for. They are the best couple ever and I literally wish they had there own series along with jez and Morgead but at the moment I just want to be able to rea [...]

    5. I miss this series and I want the final book badly. I mean, seriously can we just have the end?Anyways, I was glad to find Ash and Mary-Lynnette again. They both seemed to have come a long way since we first met them and I was happy that they got to reconnect once more.

    6. This was so precious I loved it! L. J. Smith, please write the next book! I want to read more! I love love loved this novella! *spoilers* SOOOOOO HAPPY THAT ASH AND M'LYNN R GETTING MARRIED!!! But I'm dying to know what happens next!

    8. This is a really great follow up to Ash and MaryLynn's story, and for anyone who wants to read more about them.

    9. Even though I'm happy to have a kind of closure to Daughters of Darkness, they all seemed so out of character, especially Ash :(
