    1. Cute, fun novella filled with references and in-jokes that make my geeky little heart feel all warm and fuzzy. The Pros:Reconciliation story (love them), smart and geeky heroine, pining hunk of a hero, a kick ass pair of boots, and more ninjas than you can shake a (chop)stick at. The best way to describe this novella is "fun." I enjoyed reading it. Who doesn't want to be a superhero when they grow up? I think the most enticing thing about Cons is that they give "grown ups" the chance to recaptur [...]

    2. Karma Kitty Goes to Comic Con by Mari Mancusi3.5 starsHailey Hills is one of the comic book creators of the popular, Karma Kitty. She arrives at the famous New York Comic Con for the first time with her comic book artist, Thomas. She is anxious about the event because her ex-fiance is going to be there and she hasn’t gotten over him since she left him at the alter because she was kidnapped by alien cats. That’s right alien cats. Strange things happen to Hailey and she wasn’t expecting the [...]

    3. Karma Kitty Goes to Comic Con by Mari MancusiTotally enjoyable superhero fantasy novella. The boots are magic and turn her into her superhero comic character. Now she just needs to decide if the guy that got away is worth the effort to chase or not. Fun and campy.Hailey Hills writes a comic called Karma Kitty. While at the NY Comic Con, strange things start happening in Hailey's life. Again. It seems her new shoes, ordered from hiheelia have the ability to turn her into her comic book character. [...]

    4. This review appears in full on What Am I Reading?Rate: 2Ok, so what’s this story about? Uh, I don’t remember (sort of). Karma Kitty Goes to Comic Con is a novella so it’s supposed to be short and a quick-read, but it’s also unremarkable. There isn’t much that happens in the story that’ll leave you wanting more or even recommend it to someone. In all honesty, the only reason I read the novella is because (a) it was free on and (b) Mari Mancusi also wrote the Blood Coven Vampire serie [...]

    5. Growing up in New Zealand, since it's such a small country we don't really have great Conventions so I have to resort to reading about it . Though , I'm not a huge Comic reader or a LARP type person or even Anime - the idea of attending Comic Con in America sounds amazing and would be so much fun and excitement. So of course, when I saw that one of my favourite authors Mari Mancusi had released Karma Kitty Goes to Comic Con , I just had to purchase it as the other thing I love is superhero type [...]

    6. I suffered from a harder version of the "Gamer Girl" syndrome. I wanted to LOVE Gamer Girl. The cover was awesome. The topic was near and dear. And then it turned out contrived, convoluted and outright pointless. The HEA (and main conflict) came more thanks to divine intervention than actual work and effort from the heroine. And she tries to convince us she's a "geek" or "nerd" or part of the culture, but all she gives is the impression that the author only has passing knowledge of the culture an [...]

    7. I adored Karma Kitty because:1) It's an adult book, not a kid's book, and it's nice to vary my reading a bit from time to time.2) Comic Con. Seriously. This alone is a selling point for me.3) The main character gets super powers from a kick-butt pair of boots.4) It's fun. It doesn't try to take itself too seriously.5) It's a fast read and full of action.6) It's only 99 cents! So if you're a fan of ereading, this one is totally worth checking out.

    8. Cute, silly and kind of frenetic. This was a fun little kindle freebie. Glad our heroine finally got her own HEA with the love of her life. I like the new cover (it's not the one here on ), it reminds me of the costume my very own kiddie kitty wore to Anime Expo.

    9. Cute and a quick read. It has some funny moments but that's about it.Cute and a quick read. It has some funny moments but that's about it. Highly recommend for the short flight.

    10. Loved this book. Lots of craziness going on and the magic boots were awesome. I loved the actions scenes and the characters were great!

    11. Needed editing, enough so that I found myself pulled out of the story. Fifth time it happened, I stopped.

    12. This isn't the type of book I would normally read, but it was a good change of pace. Karma Kitty was a nice easy read and it was good to read an adult romance that didn't involve sex.
