    1. 5 friends to lover stars* May have spoilers*"Who is this idiot, Jess? He’s willing to kill you and rape a woman, but doesn’t want to hurt a minor. Is he kidding?" "Criminals have to have some standards, baby." Jess sounded amused.Another hit for the Ghostwalker series! Predatory Game was flippin awesome. The series just keeps getting better and better. Although I will say that as the series goes on it does seem to be getting darker as well.“Pressure switch. Now they know who they’re deal [...]

    2. Reread Completed August 2016.I love this series, period, but this book sort of stands out because it is the most conventional setup. Boy meets girl and falls in love. But it happens that girl is an assassin with special abilities who is hiding out and boy is a special forces soldier who works for the government trying to catch traitors. Jesse comes off as being sweet but kind of crazy at the same time. I loved Jesse and Saber together. And it was great to revisit with them. I freaking love this [...]

    3. The 6th book in the GhostWalkers series, Predatory Game was a somewhat disappointing read for me. It wasn't bad, but it wasn't up to par with the previous books. It was nicer, sweeter and tamer, and I missed the fast paced and never-ending action typical of the series.Jess Calhoun is a wheelchair-bound GhostWalker who was seriously injured in Mind Game and has been working "in the background" since then. To the world, he's just a retired Navy SEAL turned songwriter and radio station owner, but h [...]

    4. 2.5 stars. I am at a loss. This book is very popular with readers of this series, but it just did not work for me. I did not hate it, but the main characters were not very likable to me.My first issue - they are living together as roommates for 10 months before this story?! Supposedly they have the mating hormone but can resist for 10 months? That is definitely not the same hormone Jack and Briony have - for sure! And why was Jesse sitting on his hands for 10 months? Dude - MAN UP!!!Jesse - I co [...]

    5. Mixed feelings on this one. I didn't like the multiple references Jesse made to enjoying sex with his ex-GF/fiance, Chaleen. I don't recall anything like this in any of the other Feehan novels I have read. However, I really enjoyed the overall plot and suspense. The sex scenes were really good. I liked both Jesse and Saber, but there was a bit too much angst going on between them at times (I am not a fan of angst). Seems like there is way more angst in the Ghostwalker romances versus the Carpathi [...]

    6. Predatory Game is the Ghostwalker story of Jess Calhoun and Saber Wynter.I really did not like this book. At all.The last two books in the Ghostwalker series were filled with action! Countries, battles, interesting backgrounds. Predatory Game takes place in a home. A regular ole town. There really isn’t anything spectacular about this book. It’s like riding some super totally rockin’ awesome roller coaster and then riding the toddler kiddie rides. It just doesn’t work.Physically and psych [...]

    7. Ms. Feehan may be the "reigning queen of paranormal romance," but she's also the queen of the run-on sentence. ;-)She certainly has her own writing style: a lot of character emotion, lengthy dialogue, the tendency to reiterate. With all that, I still enjoyed this book. There were some slow parts, but the end was full of action. Finally, seeing some headway in the Dr. Whitney issue. This was the first time--that I can remember--the girls from the orphanages having flower OR seasonal names. In the [...]

    8. 5++++ stars WOWZA !!!! I love Christine Feehan's Ghostwalker Series!!! This 6th book tells the story of Jesse Calhoun and Saber Wynter and I.LOVED!! New and exciting things happened, new information is revealed, we learned more concerning Peter Whitney and his ongoing manipulations of the Ghostwalkers; a baby is born, healing is performed and a move is made. Whewl in one book! We are introduced to new characters and updated on many of our former heroes and heroines. Another emotional, hot, hot, [...]

    9. Another terrific book in the series! We get more on Jesse Calhoun in this one, and what he's been dealing with. As it's a continuation of the series, Feehan doesn't touch on a lot of the past. This one starts out different, and I think I liked it. It wasn't one of the GhostWalkers out looking for one of the women or out on a mission. It starts right in Jess's home. He'd met Saber, who answered a job ad, and has been his roommate for several months already. You get to feel how they interact right [...]

    10. 4.5 stars.I really loved this book! It had everything in it. Although it wasn't as dark as the previous book, the tone of this book was more suspenseful and maybe even creepier because there was a lot of mystery in this one, especially as the reader was positioned to have the desire to know who the (view spoiler)[stalker was. (hide spoiler)]Jesse melted my heart. We met Jesse in the second book and learnt the consequences he'd had to deal with after he was captured by the enemy. I loved how we g [...]

    11. Predatory Game is book 6 in Christine Feehan's GhostWalker series. In this installment, Saber Wynter is fleeing from Dr. Peter Whitney and his sick experiments when she runs right into the arms ex-Navy SEAL and GhostWalker Jess Calhoun. As they live together, Saber and Jess discover each other's secrets, while staying a step ahead of the soldiers trying to reacquire them for Dr. Whitney's breeding program.Predatory Game is paranormal romantic suspense at its best. The tension is tight throughout [...]

    12. This is a wonderful continuation of the Game Series by Christine Feehan. This is the story of Jesse Calhoun, a Ghostwalker, who was severly injured in the second book, Mind Games. He is a Navy SEAL who has had to leave the teams because he can no longer walk. Saber Wynter, a woman that Dr. Whitney Sr. had experimented on when she was child, moves into his life, neither realizes what the other is. But there is a loose cannon out for Saber, someone that Dr. Whitney can't keep under control, he is v [...]

    13. This is a good series. Not one of the bests IMHO. I know many liked it and I just don't understand why I just cannot connect with it. Even though I gave 4 stars to some books in in this series I still feel it's too much for it, not because it's bad, just because it is not what I like to read. None of the books in this series was able to grab my attention seriously, with all of them I had to stop for for a while. I never could read a book without stopping once or even more times. Still, this one [...]

    14. This book was really good don't let the 3 stars fool you. For me it was the narrator that killed it for me. But I enjoyed the story so much I stuck with it and I'm glad I did. I will def be reading more from this series and author, however I will read them myself next time :)

    16. Christine Feehan knows how to deliver an action packed story. I really enjoy that about her writing. And her world building is this series blows me away. I truly enjoyed Jesse's story. It was refreshing after the gritty tales of the Norton twins. I liked that this novel was really about Jesse and Saber falling in love. Feehan's at a point in the series where it's in transition and that can often kill the romance, but not in Predatory Game. I got everything I've come to expect of this series: fas [...]

    17. 4.5 stars See the review at loveaffairwithanereaderspThis was a hot one. So far all the books in the Ghostwalker series have been sizzling with incredibly virile, alpha males but not all couples have had great chemistry. Jess and Saber, however, are like an enzyme reactionbubbling, sizzling, and setting each other off. The story both illuminates and complicates the on-going Ghostwalker narrative. These stories are complex with unfolding political intrigue, employing genetic manipulation, and fin [...]

    18. Saber Wynter was an orphan, whisked away by the US military and genetically enhanced. She was tortured and forced to the bidding of scientists. She escaped, a trained, deadly weapon, to the coast of beautiful northern California.Jesse Calhoun is a Ghostwalker. A military experiment gone wrong. When Saber answers a job posting from Jesse to be a radio announcer the two mis-matched, yet oddly similar, killers strike up a friendship that leads to something more passionate. But neither knows the cove [...]

    19. My favorite book of the Ghostwalker series. It satisfied me the most in a sense that Saber & Jesse appealed to my idea of an ideal relationship. Compromise, sacrifice, humor, friendship and the side order of romanticism, chivalry, sweetness and 'bad-assery'. I'll never get tired of re-reading this book, and I can't wait to read more of the SEALS of the Ghostwalkers. The Nortons & Jesse definitely show they're up to any task.

    20. I found this book tedious. But once I start, I rarely stop, even if it takes me ages to finish. The first problem was mine. This book does not stand alone. It is part of a series and you need to understand where everyone is coming from in order to understand the level of emotion and distrust that so many of the characters have. Also this this is a very-Alpha-male story, although Saber can take care of herself quite well and does so on numerous occasions. I am less interested in very-Alpha-males [...]

    21. Since escaping from Dr. Whitney's terrifying lab, Saber Wynter's been on the run. She finally found a haven with Jess Calhoun, but is she really safe there and is Jess really what he appears to be?After losing use of his legs during a special op gone bad, Jess has continued his highly classified GhostWalker work. His friendship with Saber quickly grows into something deeper, yet with both their shielding abilities, they don't realize each other's enhancements. When Saber slips, projecting her tho [...]

    22. Another great addition to the Ghost walker series. Loved it! I am a huge fan of this series and each time I read one, I can't wait for the next one and this was no exception. For me, this was one of the "nicer" books in this series. Jess and Saber were a rather "sweeter" couple than the others. Having said that I loved the chemistry and of course the sex was hot (when they finally got there). I am not a huge fan of the book scenario where they have known each other for months then they realise th [...]

    23. I was slightly tempted to go with 3 stars, butI think 'it was ok' more accurately describes the book and my experience with it. This was my least favorite book of the series. I had high hopes for it (not to mention friends who favored Jesse out of all the GhostWalkers), but I was disappointed. The errors were rampant in this oned I'm talking FACTUAL errors regarding wheelchairs that would have been clarified if Ms. Feehan had done some actual research. Not to mention, the fact that a man who is c [...]

    24. Jess and Saber -- Jess is the GhostWalker who was wounded in Mind Games book 2 of the GhostWalker series. He is still working for the team but is confined to a wheelchair. Saber is an orphan brought up by Dr. Whitney to be an assassin by stopping the heart by touch. The two of them work as a couple and have had time to develop as a couple. Saber is not as strong as Mari and Flame but has an inner strength and is not a push over. Jess is recovering from his injuries but isn't wallowing in misery [...]

    26. This story broke my heart. The story of Winter then Wyinter then Saber, her life as a little girl obliged by a monster to become a monster herself is so sad. She's the perfect killer, her hands lethal, her nerves strong and that sadistic bast*ard of WHitney is still trying to get her back. The love story here is very tender and sweet. I loved how Saber began to trust someone else besides herself. She had a terrible life, never being a child. Another high adrenalic story, with some violent scenes. [...]

    27. I continue to enjoy the March to Confront Peter Whitney. In this installment, we meet radio deejays Jess Calhoun and his employee Saber Wynter. Why they didn't know the other was a GhostwalkerI'm not sure. I'm not buying that shield crap. Nonetheless they had a great story as Jess was trying to walk again after finding an experimental bionics surgery with Lily Whitney helping him.I really like the women in this series. They are not weak or simpering females. They are trained assassins and they ho [...]

    28. When I saw the number of people rating this book as a 5* I was excited to read another amazing story in an amazing series. When I started this book I was a little taken aback as it is very different from the previous books. Firstly Saber and Jess do not recoginse each other as being Ghost walkers which was strange!!!!. I am already at chapter 4 and they still do not know someone is stalking them as a Ghostwalker they seriously need help!! I cannot say I disliked this book but I also did not love [...]

    29. This one was a little less action packed but still a very enjoyable addition to the series. There seems to be no end to how many other Ghost walker teams are out there, I guess the author is leaving her options open.Loved Jesse and my heart broke for Saber and her childhood. Glad they got there HEA.Loving reading this series again and I feel I'm getting so much more from them the second time around!
