    1. I'm a fan of twists on classic stories and fairy tales and thus was very intrigued when I stumbled upon A Stepmother's Story. This short story is a retelling of Cinderella by the wicked stepmother herself, who wishes to share with us what "Eleanor's" life was really like before she became a princess. The explanations of how the well known events were not what they seemed are clever and add a realistic tilt to the classic story, but I was hoping the "TRUE Tale" would be tempered a bit more. 2. I enjoy re-tellings of fairy tales, so I was excited to read this one. It was a very short story (about 20 pages), and I agree with a previous reviewer that I kind of expected a bit more (substance and length). Instead of this story being the complete opposite of what we know of Cinderella, I expected this to be more of the stepmother's side of the story. I really enjoyed this author's book, Robin: Lady of Legend, and the way it was a new spin on an old tale. I expected this book to be more of t [...]

    3. wow what a twist and that the step mother owned the glass slippers and the dress and jewelry and in A way she was the Godmother and not the mean step mother but Elanor being the mean step sister and not the caring daughter as in the Disney version but semi like the Grim brothers type story line to read more it may be a short read but she has a story of Robin hood so it is a longer book if you enjoy long books as i do but from time to time short stories can be just as fun too until next read an [...]

    4. Kindle FreebieA somewhat predictable but still charming version of Cinderella told from the stepmother's pov.

    5. Predictable twist and took minutes to read. Disappointed after coming off of the author's twist on Robin Hood

    6. This was actually a nice read. It gave a different perspective on the story of Cinderella. I really enjoyed this book!
