    1. Adventure Fantasy fanatics will love this fresh and exciting novel by C.R. Cummings!Filled with mystery, danger and characters that will snatch up your heart with their odd quirks, undying loyalty and their seemingly endless struggle to survive, you’ll be wanting the second book before you even finish this one!Vila is not like anyone else in her village. She is not a cliff mover; she is not even good enough to be a mate, and as the darkness grows so does Vila’s feelings of isolation. But fat [...]

    2. I am always blown away when a book can pick at my emotions, and Quest for the Evensongs did that. I felt for the characters, I was sad when they were sad, angry when they were angry, and rejoiced in the happiness that they found in the little things. They were truly brought to life and I felt like I was able to get to know them like they were old friends. They made mistakes like we make, and they learn from those mistakes and carry on. The whole world that the Quest of the Evensongs creates was [...]

    3. I really wanted to read all of this book and give it a rating and review because it has practically nothing. Sadly I just can't do it. I kept trying to push myself to read and finish the book but I couldn't. It's always hard to get into a book when it is full of new terms that you don't know and have to figure out. "Lightover" "High Suns" "Cliffmovers". Terms can really get in the way of my progress in a book whether because it sounds lame or it is just too confusing. After a while I got used to [...]

    4. This is my first published work. I'd give it 5 stars, mainly because I do love it! But I need others to rate the book for me, that is only fair. This is a fantasy/adventure. A young girl that finds herself given a quest by Beings in the crystals she holds. She has to travel across the lonely world and find the 'ones with knowledge'.Vila meets up with Shul and the littleones in the Palace of the Blue Robes, where their adventure continues together. Young people having adventures on a world with a [...]

    5. I wanted to like this book, but about a third in I just couldn't find myself picking it up any more and moved on to other things. For one, the fantasy words used seemed unnecessary. They didn't mean something world specific. I also found things slow and drawn out, long flash backs I felt were not needed, and characters and situations that only half thrilled me. There's potential, and maybe if I forced my way through a few more chapters it would have picked up, but with so many books on my self I [...]

    6. I can not get into this book. This is my first book to read that I would classify as a fantasy and I guess I'm not going to be a reader of fantasy novels. I'm going to shelve it for now and maybe read it later.

    7. Quest of the Evensongs was amazing and wonderfully drawn together. Although the ending was beyond what I expected and kind of out there, I'm too curious to stop reading and definitely finishing this trilogy.
