    1. Good for what it is, I guess - a listing of the various sounds various animals make.Simply illustrated, just not that engaging for me and mine. And I neglected to think when I bought it about how I'd fit a tall book like that on my normal shelf for board books - it's too big to fit there, but too bulky for my regular bookshelf!

    2. This book guides young readers through the many different animal sounds of those primarily on a farm. It uses rhyming and repetition to present the many sounds. I thought this book was really cute with lots of bright, inviting illustrations. This would be great for teaching young children animals sounds and possibly even rhyming.

    3. My 3 year old loved this book. Had to read it over and over and over and over and over, OK you get the picture. The pictures were bright and colorful and simple, repetitive wording. "What does____ say?" then the sound. I was very relieved yet disappointed that there wasn't a page that said "What does the fox say?"

    4. For what it is, it is great. It has pictures of various types of animals and you are to make their associated sounds. Great little learning tool.

    5. Thomas loves this book and sits through the whole thing. Perhaps because I make a fool out of myself with the animal sounds.

    6. A gift from Abuela. Tommy especially likes this catalog of sounds. I like that it includes owl and frog - a bit more off the beaten path.

    7. This was my son's favorite for a long time when he was a babe. (Funny though, he would cry every time my husband made the sheep "baah" sound!)
