    1. Good book. Trent spent the first part of the book being a real jerk. He was one of those guys that slept with a woman then moved on. After his encounter with Jolene, he moved on and ignored the calls she made trying to tell him about the baby. When she finally told him, he didn't want to believe her. Meanwhile, Jolene had been caring for Amanda on her own, while working in the bar. Many people put her down for that, and even Trent made some hurtful remarks. But as they spent more time together, [...]

    2. AR1379 Nov11 Men of Red River Trent Ridell and Jolene Arnold, had been childhood friends until her abusive father had moved his family away from the town. Trent spends one night with Jolene and returns to his bull ridding competitions. He returns home after he's injured in a bull riding competition to find the reason for all her phone messages, an infant daughter. Not an easy life in a small town, with gossiping rampant, for an unwed mother. Especially liked Mr. Cal Ridell's defense of Jolene an [...]

    3. This book was a quick read for me. I enjoyed the reading the book from the the very beginning with Jolene's take charge and no backing down attitude when it came to doing what she felt was best for her daughter Amanda Rose, and introducing her to Trent her father. Trent may be crazy enough to ride the bulls in the ring but could he take the bull by the horns and face up to being a father to a drunken one night encounter with a woman who was once his childhood friend?

    4. While a good premise for a romance novel I found the writing extremely choppy. I had trouble following dialogue, and they did things that they said they had talked about that either weren't in the story line or missing from the book altogether. I felt like I was reading an abridged copy that had pieces missing.

    5. Here the reader finds that there is a rodeo cowboy come home to recuperate from his latest injury and is confronted by a young women with a child who claims that it is his and the story goes from there. I liked how getting ready for Christmas gets everyone together in a good place.
