    1. To be fair I liked this book, I just felt it was a repeat of the first in the series. So a=many of the same elements that happened in the first book. Really, your boyfriend and BFF are both acting out of character, and you didn't think it was a spell right off?I like Larue, most of the time. She just has this whole mopey thing that gets tired. For somebody who has the ability to see ghosts her whole life, she doesn't know very much about out them. She has some great moments, but it is hard to ge [...]

    2. Ghouls Night Out is a great follow up in the Larue Donovan series. I don't think I have laughed out loud this much in a long time, plus having the creeps with shadowy things in the woods. Larue always has a group of ghost following her, this time Mae West is in the line up,along with Callahan's grandfather, and it is a hoot!! Demons and bad witches are the name of the game in this book. A mysterious cousin Copper shows up to take over Brianna the black witches clothing store. Is he like the evil [...]

    3. Fantastic addition to my Rose Pressey collection! I ferociously eat this authors books up! Fun fast and festive! Not to mention a bit scary to boot! What will happen next?

    4. The star rating given reflects my opinion within ‘the official rating system’.1 star: Didn’t Like it2 stars: It’s Okay3 stars: Liked it4 stars: Really Liked it5 stars: It Was AmazingI don’t really give a rat-fuck that there are some who think I ‘owe’ an explanation for my opinion. Nope, nada, and not sorry about it.Sometimes I may add notes to explain what my opinions are based on, and sometimes I don’t. I do this for me, on my books, in my library and I don’t ‘owe’ any sp [...]

    5. Rose Pressey’s work is usually light fare with paranormal and humorous touches and this is more in that vein. Larue is a psychic who runs a bookstore and talks to ghosts. In this volume, she’s being followed by the ghosts of Seth, the grandfather of the man she really wants a relationship with, Callahan, Anthony a handsome smooth talker and Mae West (yes that Mae West). Callahan owns the coffee shop and in a previous book was put under a serious love spell that Larue saved him from. In this [...]

    6. Nothing says romance like taking your date with you to exorcise a house.Larue is a bookstore owner who just happens to see and talk with ghosts. She has recently started helping out a ghost busting group to help the ghosts to the other side. Larue is called to a haunting while on a date with coffee shop owner, Callahan. Along the way, Callahan's deceased grandfather, Seth becomes a back seat passenger. At the house, Larue finds Mae West( yes, the real Mae West) and a James Dean wanna be. Now Lar [...]

    7. Book Title: Ghouls Night Out Book Author: Rose PresseySource: K.U.Rating: 5 starsOkay, so Abe moved on and Mae West takes his place. Larue is one lucky gal to get all the attention from famous ghosts. It gets more serious for Larue in this one. Not only is she still not lucky in love (again someone is after Callahan), but also there’s a new guy in town. With her past experience from her last case and learning that witchcraft exists, Larue, is confused, angry, and determined to yet again fight f [...]

    8. First story that I have read in the series.Larue is a book shop owner and her other job is paranormal investigating and helping ghosts to pass over, it does help that she can see and speak to ghosts. In this story she is been followed by Seth who is the grandad of her love interest but after visiting a hanuted how she collects another 2 ghosts who annoy her.Her bestfriend Mindy becomes disinterested in their friendship and treats Larue like she's a nuisance, someone is stalking Larue, her book sh [...]

    9. This is a light-hearted tale that was a quick, fun read. It had several editing errors, but nothing that really detracted from the story. This is more for fans of the cozy mystery and not for fans of a true mystery. Given that there were many, many references to things that happened in the first book in the series, it's probably best to read these books in order, though I enjoyed this book well enough without having read the first book.

    10. Very enjoyableThis is a fun book to read and has very interesting characters that you fall in love with. This is a lot of humor and fun mystery in the storyline. This is the type of book that you want to keep reading until the end to find out how everything turns outs.

    11. I've just finished book two and am about to start book three and already have book four on my kindle, that will make three books read in two days. I'm hooked, can't put them down. Well written, funny and love the ghosts. Have recommend them to my friends. Keep them coming.

    12. Very entertainingQuirqky without ghouls. Ghost whisper and witches make this a fun book to read but pay attention or you will get lost in the translation. Good for all ages.

    13. What a fun night!I would like to give the book a 5. The only reason I didn't was because of all the misspellings. On to the next Ghostly adventures.

    14. Larue has found 3 more ghosts that she needs to help and Callahan is in trouble again. Fun story and mystery.

    15. I like the authors writing style. Light reads for when you want entertainment. I love Larue's ghostly companions in this series.

    16. Today's review is on Ghouls Night Out by Rose PresseyI had purchased Ghouls Night Out on a whim and without knowing that it was the second book in Pressey's Larue Donavan series. Needless to say, I was happy to find that Ghouls Night Out was a good stand alone book. Not only that, it was quirky, snarky, and fun to read.Larue Donavan who owns her own book store, has an amazing and at times annoying ability. She not only sees dead people, but she can talk to them. Deciding to do her part, she had [...]

    17. This book picks up exactly where we left off in book one. I must say while I enjoyed this book it didn't quite hit that 5 star mark with me. In part because of the main character Larue. While she is a marvelous character she is just so weak to me. She has so much self doubt and uncertainty in everything she thinks or does, and it becomes a little bit annoying. I kept wanting to reach in and smack some sense into her and yell at her to put her big girl undies on!Once again we have a bit of a myst [...]

    18. Great story, solid 2nd book in this series. I couldn’t put it down.Larue just can’t catch a break. She and Callahan try to pick up where they left off by going out on a date. When Callahan comes to pick her up Larue meets his Grandfather’s ghost, Seth. Then she gets an urgent phone call and they run off to assist her friends with a ghost busting gone bad. So, Larue has her next set of ghouls and what a fun bunch they are, Mae West and the James-Dean-wanna-be.Even though Larue’s tough ext [...]

    19. Another fun entertaining read by Rose Pressey. This book started off exactly where we last left Larue and Callahan, which was on one of Larue's ghost hunts. As before there are always tag-a-longs that follow her home. My favorite was Anthony, he was so sweet. I also loved Seth, he really helped to look out for Callahan also.Again, as with book one, I felt there wasn't enough time with Larue and Callahan together. I hope finally in the next book they can spend some quality time with each other. I [...]

    20. I was loving this book until the end. It seemed that from the final spell work at the end to the "cliffhanger", that it was just rushed. The flow went from normal pace to, "oh we need to work out an ending really quick before the pizza arrives". The long awaited reveal to Callahan lacked substance and was merely a few sentences. The ghosts leaving was also rather uneventful, considering the connection that was developing between Larue and Anthony. The facts of her being able to feel him more sol [...]

    21. This is the second book that follows, Larue Donavan, a book store owner and a ghost whisperer. She has just rescued her new boyfriend, Callahan Weiss, from an evil spell that caused him to love another woman. Just when she thinks everything is back to normal. Her best friend, Mindy, starts acting strangely. To add to the problems, Larue has a new set of ghosts who are now following her around. I love how much humor that is present in this series of books. Larue always gets herself into some kind [...]

    22. Always the optimist, I stuck with this book to the end where it just fell flat. The dialogue was scattered and repetitive and there were way too many loose ends. Chapters started and stopped in the oddest places and there was an incredible overuse of wiggled eyebrows. It must have happened at least half a dozen times in the first 3 pages alone. By the last page where Mae wiggled hers for the last time I was ready to scream. This is the last book by this author I intend to inflict upon myself.

    23. Second book in the bookstore owner/ghostbuster Larue Donavan series. Again a light Kindle read that has some funny moments if not a lot of the scare-factor or surprising twists. Larue's gang of ghosts in this book include her boyfriend Callahan's grandfather, a 50's era romeo and Mae West. I miss Abe Lincoln from the first book. This time it is best friend Mindy who is acting strange after meeting the cousin of boutique-owning bad witch Bianca and Larue has to figure out how to get her friend ba [...]

    24. Larue Donovan has new ghosts to content with, hot sexy Anthony, Callahan's grandpa Seth and Mae West. Someone is out to make Larue's life miserable by putting Callahan and Mindy under a spell. She turns to the coven for help, only to find her long lost father and the need of the regional coven leader. All while she tries to figure out if the new guy in town practices black magic and the cause of all the trouble. Larue is funny a times and then falls under we have done that before until the story [...]
