    1. I knew I've made the right choice by selecting this book out of the library. This book has captured my insight about a place I've always loved to visit once again: Hong Kong. I enjoy reading this guidebook because it has showed me many different aspects of life in Hong Kong and Macau. Examples include the city life, history, entertainment, and etc. What I find most fascinating is how I can personally relate to this book in terms of my experience in Hong Kong and my influenced background in China [...]

    2. this lonely planet is not good. i do not find the descriptions helpful. they only used one author, so that really limits and greatly influences the book. i would not suggest this book to travellers coming to hong kong. i haven't used other travel books for hong kong, so hopefully one of those is better. if all you find is a lonely planet, i would get it because it is very helpful just to have some sort of reference guide. the city link map that we got is very helpful and has a nice little map of [...]

    3. A very informative book about Hong Kong. I think I hit almost of the tourist sights mentioned here because I was in Hong Kong almost 6 months. I don't like how the cover art of Chinese opera, because it's not that popular there anymore and actually HK is a very modern city. Most people can speak some English due to the British influence. Be prepare for amazing street food and interesting sights!

    4. good guide! but must update from time to time. things rapidly change in HK, well.'s asia's NY so to speakgo figure! =)
