    2. An action-packed tale that blends intriguing ideas within classic fiction, for a thoroughly ingenious outcome. Book 3 within the Fire Thief trilogy concludes the magical, mythical saga spanning across the ages; from Ancient Greece right into the twenty-first century. With the same ‘feel’ as Rick Riordan novels (Percy Jackson series), heroes and heroines intermingle with Demi-Gods, Angels and all sorts of fascinating creatures in an attempt to ‘save the world’. What I love most about this [...]

    3. i have read the previous two and so might as well finish the trilogy off and although not brilliant it was enjoyable although it is not a book to read when tired as their is so many names to remember so was glad they had a list to check upon the back i remember doing the myths and legends at school but TERry deary is such a great entertainer for history i must dig some more of it out

    4. The book ," The Fire Thief Fights Back" by Terry Deary describes the titan Prometheus and the god Zeus and they come together to fight off the avenger. In the book Prometheus fights for his freedom from the Avenger, and Zeus realizes that he needs the titan Prometheus to fight off the monsters that lie in his path. Then the Avenger comes with a group of monsters to fight for Prometheus and he sets off to kill Prometheus. The villagers of "Eden City" get a note from a sea monster and they are sai [...]

    5. The Fire Thief Fights Back,By Terry Deary,Historical Fiction.I rate this book with 4 stars **** because it was engaging and entertaining but only towards the end. It started off boring with a bad story, but it gradually got exiting. There are a son and a mother who go around selling fake magical medicine. They go from city to city coning people out of their money. So this time they end up in Eden City, a place of smog and smoke. They come across Prometheus, a Greek hero, who is in hiding from the [...]

    6. It's a good book, i liked it. Some parts of the book were slow and got really boring. The other parts were fun and interesting and overall just a good book.I wish the book was more exciting and had better story line to it other than that it was just a good book. I think if people are interested in mythology and like magic stuff and gods and stuff this would be the perfect book for them. To those people I would tell them to read it. My favorite parts of the book were the parts when they were in O [...]

    7. Alex’s Book Review For The Fire Thief Fights BackDo you like learning about myths around the world? If yes you would like to read the series of The Fire Thief. The Fire Thief is a Greek mythology story. An extremely short summary of the book would be Time is running out for Prometheus. He will need to find a hero fast before the avenger’s team destroys him and Zeus. This book might be right for Jacqueline, Lloyd and Brenden because the all like Greek myths and they have read Percy Jackson and [...]

    8. In the book, "The Fire Thief Fights Back" by Terry Deary, Prometheus, the demigod who stole fire from the gods and gave it to the humans, is still on the run from the Fury, who seeks to destroy Prometheus once and for all. The Greek monsters are angry with Zeus for killing the Typhon, so they plan to kill Zeus and claim their freedom. Zeus finds Prometheus and stays in Eden city, in the year 1785 with him, also in hiding, from the monsters out to get him. Zeus and Prometheus meet a young boy nam [...]

    9. I really enjoyed this series. It's quite witty and entertaining. Sadly, this book, much like the second contained the same formula as the first book and it got repetitive. This book was by far the weakest. Several things bothered me about this book. Zeus convinced over half of the monsters he faced to run away from a fight and it was such an anti-climax for me, especially since the quote on the front promised me action packed - there wasn't much to speak of. I didn't really understand why the av [...]

    10. Completes the adventures of Prometheus, as he tries to find a human hero and save himself from capture by The Avenger (a giant brass bird, very evil). In this book, Zeus has been kidnapped and Hermes must rescue him; in the process they kill a monster and all the monsters vow revenge. So the Avenger thinks he can take advantage of this and he gets the monsters to come with him into the future to capture Prometheus AND Zeus. Meanwhile, our human narrator this time is Sam, who helps his mom sell f [...]

    11. The final book in the Fire thief trilogy will decide whether Prometheus will live or not. Prometheus is now visiting Eden City in 1785 to find a human hero. While Prometheus is looking for his hero, Sam and his mother, Jenny Wonder are selling a "special" medicine that can apparently cure all problems. Their show is cut short when Zeus comes in to warn them about the seven strongest monsters from Ancient Greece that are coming to wreak havoc in Eden City.

    12. I chose this book because I read the other two books. Its about Prometheus fighting back against the avenging eagle. My favorite book is ''You've got to find a human hero, Prometheus. Time is running out''. I like this quote because its sum up what he has to do. I like the author writhing style because its greek mythology. I would recommend this book to people who have read the other two books in the series.

    14. This trilogy would have been better had I read it when I was younger. Don't get me wrong, it was a good trilogy. I just had trouble getting into it. I kept putting it down to do something else. I thought the idea was great, but I think I would have enjoyed this more if I had read it in, say, middle school. I would say that would be the target audience, in my opinion.

    15. The final installment in the Fire Thief Trilogy finds Prometheus still looking for his hero. Back in Eden City he must join with Zeus against the Avenger and a whole plethora of Greek monsters to save the town. Will Prometheus find his hero and return to ancient Greece? A surprising conclusion to a fun and humorous trilogy.

    16. Once again, this book has brought the fire thief Prometheus to life again. With mythical creatures,gods,demi-gods,interesting happenings, and "scene switching"at every chapter, this book will delight every fan of greek mythology.

    17. This was very good as well. I loved the interplay between the god and the lead character. Prometheus is very endearing and wonderful, as usual. A surprising finish, and a very good read!

    18. This book was an awesome and funny final instalment to the Fire Theif Trilogy. I had a great time reading it. Funny twists on greek mythology.
