    1. This book won the Vogel award in 1996 (?) and it was such an incredible read, it's easy to see why. It was a bit tricky to follow at times as it constantly switched P.O.V. between the four main characters as well as a few other strangers that were hanging around the edgesI really enjoyed the challenge!The plot was very loosely based around the conflicting memories Cliff and Susan have of growing up with their grandparents in a remote cottage buried deep into the bush on the outskirts of a Queens [...]
