    1. 3 1/2 to 4 stars for overall anthology. This Time Next Year 3 to 3 1/2 starsOverall, I enjoyed this Christmas novella but felt there was too much plot for such a short story. Because of that, the ending felt rushed and somewhat unsatisfying. A Rare Gift 3 1/2 to 4 starsI really enjoyed this Christmas novella. The heroine was simply fantastic and though the hero came across more like a cantankerous old fart than a torture hero, I did warm up to him by the end. This was an angsty but good read. It's [...]

    2. From the cover: A man gives the gift of trust and receives a second chance at love in return. A woman helps to heal the wounded heart of a soldier. A couple finds that true love knows no distance. And a young widow learns that there can be two great loves in a lifetime. Love, romance and passion come together in this collection of four seasonal shorts. 1. This Time Next Year by Alison Kent - 4 stars - This was just such a wonderful story about life, the choices we make, love and healing. Dillon [...]

    3. This was one fabulous collection of Christmas-themed short stories, provided by netgalley. Shannon Stacey was the only author I'd previously read, but I'm pretty sure I'll be checking all the others after reading these. The first story is This Time Next Year by Alison Kent and it was just one of those books that presses all the right buttons for me. Gorgeous stetson-wearing hero on horseback - check, said hero rescues heroine from snowdrift - check, heroine discovers that not only is the hero a b [...]

    4. Shannon Stacey- Mistletoe & Margaritas It’s common knowledge that with novellas most people feel like there is a shortage character growth & that the story moved to fast and they often feel rushed. I definitely felt that with Mistletoes & Margaritas. I’m not saying it was bad, I just felt that this could have been a 5+ star with all the she-bang, if it were a full length novel. Young widow Claire Rutledge and Justin McCormick have been friends for years. Justin has loved Claire s [...]

    5. Last year around Christmas time I picked up Naughty and Nice, a collection of novellas, because I am a huge fan of Shannon Stacey's novels. I hadn't at that time read anything by the other authors. So I was really excited when Holiday Kisses came out this year, particularly because Jaci Burton's story is a continuation of sorts from her story in Naughty and Nice. "This Time Next Year" was an enjoyable story. I've now got a couple of titles on my Kindle by this author and I'm looking forward to r [...]

    6. Absolutely wonderful feel good Christmas stories and I LOVED THEM! All stories were either great or nearly great, which hardly ever happens! This Time Next Year - Alison Kent, 4.5 stars A really beautiful story and I loved the ending. Not what I expected to happen which made it a refreshing surprise.A Rare Gift - Jaci Burton, 5 starsThis was my absolute fav and I really REALLY loved it. This story is worth the money alone!!It's Not Christmas Without You - HelenKay Dimon, 4 starsThis is actually m [...]

    7. 'Holiday Kisses' is a collection of four novellas that share a theme of couples overcoming obstacles to find true love before Christmas. I found all four stories enjoyable; the last one 'Mistletoe and Margaritas' by Shannon Stacey is my favourite, and in my view the strongest. The heat from these stories will help keep you warm on a chilly evening.

    8. Keep Your Eye On That Frost GuyHe NipsFour holiday romance novellas make up this seasonal delight, and they did a nice job of keeping me toasty on a couple of cold winter nights. Metaphorically, anyway, as southern Florida isn't exactly known for its brisk evening temperatures, even in winter. This anthology didn't have the shared concept that united the three novellas in the previous anthology I read, but I'm perfectly happy without that. This one was a more consistent and entertaining read, eac [...]

    9. Holiday Kisses is a compilation of 4 wonderful stories. I have read a few anthologies over the last few weeks and I have to say this is one of the best I’ve read. Overall, I would give this a 4.5 rating. Below, I will review each book individually. This Time Next Year by Alison Kent.I really, really enjoyed this book! This Time Next Year is a short story, yet packed with so much. The time these 2 characters spent with each other never felt rushed or like, we as the readers, were shortchanged. B [...]

    10. Holiday Kissses from Carina Press is another book in their terrific Christmas anthologies. I say terrific because the formula they use isterrific. They publish the four stories together under one theme, and people have the choice to purchase all four together, or, they're available separately. This is a terrific solution to the "your mileage may vary" problem usually found in anthologies. There's the obvious theme in this collection. Okay, there are two obvious themes. It's a romance anthology. A [...]

    11. This review was posted at Under The CoversSuch an enjoyable Christmas anthology. 14. It isn’t often that I enjoy all of the stories in an anthology, but Holiday Kisses delivers. The novel contains four contemporary romances surrounding the holiday season. This is the first time I have ever given a 5 coffee cup review to a collection of works. Each story could stand on its own, and I would gladly read the full length version. In, This Time Next Year by Alison Kent we meet Brenna Keating and Dillon Craig. Brenna is headed to her grandmother’s house in the Blue Ridge Mountains. [...]

    15. It's a month of Christmas with lots of Christmas romance! Overall, I gave this book 4 stars and below are reviews for each of four anthologies with ratings, respectively. This Time Next Year by Alison Kent (5 stars) - It was a story about one with tortured soul and haunted pasts, Dillon, where he met with an ambitious nurse, Breena. Rough weather made them stuck together and they started to learn about each other and eventually, they grew feelings to one another. I loved this story because Dillon [...]

    16. Holiday Kisses- AnthologyFour Stories by Four AuthorsThis Time Next Year by Alison KentDillon Craig lives with the memories of war. As a doctor, he did his best but he remembers the men he failed. Now he lives on the mountain and helps the people there. Brenna Keaton is heading to her Gran's on the mountain to spend Christmas like every year. When she ends up in a snow bank, Dillon comes by on his horse, Ranger, and rescues her. Only they end up snowed in at his cabin. Can love grow between them [...]

    17. This was a cute collection of holiday stories. I have only read 2 of the authors before (Burton and Dimon), but will be checking out more from the other 2 authors.I wasn't too sure about Allison Kent's story when I first started reading it. But slowly I was won over by it, I have a soft spot for broken heroes. Dillon seemed ok at first glance, but the more you get to know him you realize he hides things very well. I loved how he was working out his issues and thought it was a great way to rememb [...]

    18. Reviewed By~PattiReview Copy Provided By~NetGalleyThis Time Next Year – I really enjoyed this story right from the beginning I was routing for Dillon. He was such a sweet man I really wanted him to find love and happiness. The Grandma side story was wonderful too. It really touched memories of my own Grandma and that pulled me in on such a personal level that it was even more important that they get together. The story was believable with just enough magic. The characters were likable and huma [...]

    19. Holiday Kisses is one of the best holiday romances that I have read this season. It is rare indeed that I find an anthology where every story appeals to me. I usually end up not liking at least one story, but this one wasn't like that at all. I would be sitting there reading with a huge smile on my face or laughing out loud and every around me would want to know what was making me so happy (sappy, my husband says). I would quickly let them know going on and on about whichever story in the anthol [...]

    20. Read for the Holiday!Overall Rating 4.25This Time Next Year: 4.25A Rare Gift: 4.00It's Not Christmas Without You: 4.25Mistletoe and Margaritas: 4.50NOTE: Anthologies usually leave me lacking and thinking there is more to the story. Evidently, I don't have that problem with Christmas Anthologies. I must buy the whole magic of Christmas thing LOLThis Time Next Year: Probably the most heart-warming of the anthology. This story had me rooting for the romance and really loving that moment on the porc [...]

    21. Loved this! I look forward to Carina Press every year for this anthology! This has four great Christmas stories from four of my favorite authors. I was so excited Jaci Burton gave us another story about the Kent brothers! (Fell in lust with those guys last year!) All four stories are sweet, loving, filled with emotion and perfect for this time of yearor anytime!

    22. Loved this! All of the stories were wonderful and engaging. I always enjoy reading Stacey and Burton and was pleasantly surprised by Dimon and Kent. Can't wait to read Burton's All She wants for Christmas! Laughs and tears, this is an amazing collections of entertaining stories!Thank you NetGalley for providing me with this ebook!

    23. I won this book thru a contest and hgave been thrilled. All 4 stories were great. Two of the authors were new to me----Alison Kent and Jaci Burton. I would definitely pick up 1 of their books now. Thank you for the book.

    24. 3.5 stars.A great holiday compilation of stories to really get you into the Christmas spirit. And it was smoking hot too. Eh hem.

    25. This was a great little collection of stories. They read like full novels. A couple of the narrators left a bit to be desired but overall it was very entertaining.

    26. Holiday Kisses is the newest Christmas anthology being published from Carina Press. Holiday Kisses includes stories from Alison Kent (This Time Next Year), Jaci Burton (A Rare Gift), HelenKay Dimon (It’s Not Christmas Without You), and Shannon Stacey (Mistletoe & Margaritas). I’m a huge fan of each of the authors in this anthology and was very excited to get a copy early from NetGalley.Alison Kent’s This Time Next YearBrenna Keating is on her way to spend Christmas with her grandmother [...]

    27. **Reviewed for Romancing Rakes for the Love of Romance**Holiday Kisses is an anthology released by Carina Press, one of my favorite publishers for romance--I've yet to read a book of theirs that I didn't like. And this book was an excellent addition to their collection (admittedly I was eager to read Shannon Stacey's contribution to this anthology, but since it was the last one I made myself read the rest first. I'm just that strong). This Time Next Year, Alison Kent This is a story of healing, [...]

    28. Slick‘s review posted on Guilty Pleasures Book ReviewsReview copy provided for an honest review4.25 STARSI love holiday anthologies and I was excited to read this one because it features authors I’ve read a lot and while I did enjoy it, I found that I had already read two of the stories included in it previously. I’m not disappointed because I always enjoy re-reading books I’ve enjoyed but I guess my warning to readers is, when buying an anthology check to make sure you haven’t read th [...]
