A great book, giving a lot of insight about places in Japan and China (places that have not changed ever since, e.g. buddhist temples) and also a nice catch of the Author's mix of poetic and philosophical opinions about other people, places (including history), language, Art (theatre), political/social pragmatics, e.t.c.
