  1. This is a collection of shorter pieces done for the BBC radio. Some of it is entertaining, but this is not Stoppard at his best. Still, it shows what he can do, and why his stuff is often lively and entertaining. At times his work is clever, absurdist, and insouciant, which, I guess, hit the right note for the time and place.
