    1. I have never read this author before and I found her writing confusing but interesting. The book notes: Warning: This book contains a dirigible, flying machines, automatons, a sexy but secretive hero, a stubborn heroine, and a very determined killer. Both Bennett and Ella are well-drawn, the causes of their separate guilt delineated to explain their actions, just as it brings them togeth [...]

    4. A plodding storyline, repetitive descriptions and poor grammar detracted from what could have been an interesting steampunk novel.
