    1. Timely romance between Ben, a Paralympic athlete set to compete in the 2012 games, and Nick, whose arrival is not helping Ben's Olympic bid. This feels very of the moment. The buzz of the 2012 games in London is really starting to build and I thought it was a perfect story/setting for its release time. It's also nice to see an MC with a disability, although Ben's case of cerebral palsy is only mild. A warm-hearted and very British romance!

    2. This is a classic, lovely Charlie Cochrane story full of gentleness and warmth and charming dialogue. I wanted something nice and I know I can count on this author for that and I was not at all disappointed. This is a great novella about a swimmer going for gold and falling in love on the way. Ben is a lively, endearing character and he's fun to read about. It's a totally lovely and enjoyable and very well done story.

    3. 3.5 stars (rounded up)Recommended to readers who enjoy a slow, unfolding pace and a slow buildup of romance and sex. Light on the smut, heavy on the witty banter and strong (British!) voice. Definitely an enjoyable and nice, fairly short read.

    4. top2bottomreviews.wordpressBen has a mild case from cerebral palsy, but has been raised by parents who encourage him to always reach for his dreams. On the day the teenaged Ben and his best friend Matt find out the 2012 Olympics will be held in London, Ben becomes determined to works hard and try out for the British Paralympic swim team so he can hopefully achieve Olympic glory. Once Ben makes this decision, he is encouraged by his parents’ and by his best friend Matt and starts training almos [...]

    5. Synopsis: Ben has cerebral palsy, and when he hears that the Olympics are going to be in London, he vows to be on the team when the time comes. He trains really hard, encouraged by his best friend and his family. As he becomes more and more consumed with the team and with training, Ben and his best friend grow apart. When Ben runs in to Matt with his future brother-in-law Nick, Ben is immediately drawn to Nick. They start to date, and Ben can't fully concentrate on his training, which is reflect [...]

    6. Probably between a 3.5 and 4 but went with the 4. Shortish, sweet read. Being British I always like British humour in books - plenty here. Read this as the 2012 Paralympics start so I know a little more than I did about the categories and will be watchung the S9 100m freestyle with interest! However, it was a story of a new relationship as well and that was nicely done. The pressures of performing and family illness causing the necessary angst. Great read for a lazy Sunday afternoon!24.7.17 rere [...]

    7. Tumble Turn is a very small novel running at 74 pages so it's a quick read. It's a very cute and heart-warming story about a young guy called Ben Edwards who has mild Cerebral Palsy and is Gay and is competing as a swimmer in the London 2012 Paralympic Games for Great Britain. A chance meeting with his old school boy friend Matty at the Aquatics Centre leads him into a relationship with the charming and handsome, Nick. Can Ben, juggle his feelings for Nick and his Mothers ill health and still ge [...]

    8. Well-written but scandalously short novel (I'm cross, not only because I was really interested in hero but also because it was a rip-off for the money!) about a Paralympic swimmer who finds love at a time when he should have been trying to win medals. There was so much potential for a longer story, and the waste has annoyed me into only giving it 3 stars, when it really deserves 4.5 but I don't care because IT SHOULD BE LONGER.Update: there are so few good books about disabled characters, that i [...]

    9. Sweet as Can BeWritten by the author of the great Cambridge Fellow series, this is a sweet reminiscence of a love affair between Ben, a low-level cerebral palsy sufferer, and Nick, his pal turned lover whom Ben has to keep away from him during his trials for the 2012 Paralympics in London.Like that's gonna happen.Enjoy yourself, the smile will never fade from your face and you wander through sweet Ben's narrative, and you would think at the end that it was written in 2015, not 2012.

    10. I really enjoyed this! I loved the very British voice and feeling to this (although I could see for some that it might be different and harder to follow if you don't know some of the lingo and terms) and liked the real feel to it all. Nice to read something about the 2012 summer Olympics already!

    11. Good m/m romance about a Paralympic swimmer who's always planned to avoid romantic entanglements until after the 2012 Paralympics, but life has other plans As others have noted, the British voice in this is very, very strong.

    12. I loved this story! Charlie is a master of words, but the story is sweet and kept me turning the page. I would love to read more on what happened to them, especially with Rio having just finished.

    14. Very sweet, very British story. It was nice to see two characters taking the slow road and getting to know each other before falling into bed.
