    1. m.fanfiction/s/6435092/1/This piece of fanfiction is absolutely fucking nuts. Yet charming. There were way too many children messed up in the story, and way too intelligent, but that is definitely an interesting approach. Draco is seriously adorable. And fascinating. It succeeds in making me think about missed opportunities and how some choices are so important that they form the rest of our lives.T take theU unknownR roadN nowA marvelous New Year's resolution and a good philosophy about taking ri [...]

    2. Don't expect me to say anything about the plot, because I won't; this is the kind of book that needs to be read with no preconceived notions about how it's going to develop.I will say, however, that I am very, very impressed. This story is huge. Huge. And I'm not talking about its length, although it is 700 pages long, but about the incredible amount of stuff that is packed into what now seems to me a pretty small number of pages. The characters I've grown to love in the Harry Potter series are al [...]

    3. Warning: this is going to be a 'feels' review. Basically, expect incomprehensible ravings and lots and lots of emotions. Also, in my status updates is a misleading spoiler, so do yourself a favour and forget it if you've already read it, or just don't read it at all.Lost. That's probably the best way to describe how I felt, how I still feel after finishing turn. I don't know why, I don't know how, I don't even know what the hell I'm feeling. It's a peculiar jumble of profound sadness, elation, l [...]

    4. With more than 300,000 words this story was disgustingly long, but boy, did I enjoy it. I'd've gladly read another 100,000 words, seriously. I'm a sucker for disgustingly long books (in case you couldn't tell), as long as the plot doesn't get dull, of course. And although sometimes it seems like there's not too much happening/going on, it really never gets boring. I was utterly engrossed and I wouldn't want to shorten this book, even if it was just a few words. I totally fell in love with Turn. [...]

    5. far, far, far-far far too long.i think it took me 9 months to read this; if i were kidding about that, there would be a smiley right

    6. I finished this one right before New Years---I had no idea what to say about it then and I have no idea what to say about it now. (Where in god's name would I start?) So I'll just repeat the thought that kept going through my mind as I read it:Now this is motherfucking fanfiction.4.5

    7. FIRST FULL RE-READ 2 March 2016This year has turned into my year of the re-read. I've just felt nostalgic all year and have been revisiting old favorites of every genre. The year would certainly not be complete without revisiting this one. Truly a Drarry classic, this fic has just so much to love. And none of that was diminished this time through. Some New Favorite Quotes:"James, stop being an arsekettle," Al whines. Rose snickers approvingly."Language," Harry sighs again, secretly amused at the [...]

    8. re-read. Because sometimes it's nice to know what you'll get. #####Feb 2014:This is a very long story. ICoS long, really. The first part - Harry's glimpse of an alternate universe in which he finds himself in an established and loving relationship with Draco - was tremendously well done. Apart from the fact that this alternative life felt fairytailishly perfect, it was surprisingly smutty, romantic and sweet. I was with him in his moments of confusion, worry and happiness when he eventually falls [...]

    9. (I found this book stalking Nina's fanfic shelf, so I just wanted to thank her for unintentionally recommending me this book. Can't wait to get to the others I found there as well. You might even tempt me into reading some of those teen wolf fics at some point.)I really don't know how to explain how I feel about this book. Honestly, it feels like some part of me is still stuck in the story--I guess that is what happens when you read a book for almost 24 hours with only a few hours of crashing in [...]

    10. I know it's fanfiction, but it reads so much like an original story that I had to let myself list it. This author has an incredible way of weaving stories even when she's playing in someone else's sandbox.

    11. Holy shit okay omg. It's been a few days since I finished this but I just want to say that this is one of the best fics I've ever read. I'm not a fan of AU, I didn't think I'd like established and domestic Drarry, and I don't usually read fics where they're that old but - oh my god. Good grief. This broke my heart in a million different ways. It was funny. It was heartwarming. It made me laugh and cry.It really shows how one decision can change the course of the world. Both Harry and Draco were [...]

    12. The binge re-read of Sara's girl fic build-up to Christmas lolReally enjoy her writing, the little detail that makes each story more. Warmth and growth, characters feel real and personalised despite being a work of fan-fiction. Sweet, funny and poignant in turn. And non-annoying children ;)I'm rarely a fan of alternative reality head-spinny tales so put off reading this for the longest time. It's neatly tied together and I like the maturity of this epilogue respecting story.

    13. 3.5 stars, but since it's fanfic it gets automatically rounded up. Solid, well thought out story, well written, with a few surprises, but a bit too long. All three sections could have benefited from tightening the story.

    14. The one where Harry gets a glimpse of what could have happened if he had tried to save Malfoy. Or the one with gay!carpenter Harry. I loved this so much, I fell down a bloody rabbit hole with fanfiction again this year but the concept behind this one tugged at my heart so much. It's absolutely massive and part of me wants to read it all over again.

    15. i started to read this story on vacation. when i forgot my Sony reader, my Nextbook, my paperbacks in hotel room and the only thing remaining was my phone with this fanfiction. don't get me wrong. i DO like Harry Potter universe, but don't very much like Harry Potter himself. i hated Draco in all the books and truth be told i downloaded this fanfiction just because i read one review. im easily swayed by reviews. *lol*i didn't like it very much from the startlationship between Harry and Ginny was [...]

    16. Wow, I spent a LOT of time reading this book, and considering I was reading it during the height of tax season madness, and with a lot of family stuff going on, I was amazed I was able to read as much as I did! Every spare moment I was grabbing my ereader-this story just held my attention and wouldn’t let go. As other reviewers have said, its hard to define what it is about this book that is so wonderful, i decided just to give it a go and started reading, and in no time at all I was hooked. T [...]

    17. This was an interesting journey, and really well written, I LOVED the first half so much, it was really exciting and I could hardly stop reading BUT the second part, I just don't know. It didn't even feel like a Harry Potter Fanfiction in the end for me. Too many OCs and I've to say not enough Draco for me. I don't want a story without a plot but in the end I skipped big parts because they bored me :/ I would give five stars for the first part, but for the second, hardly 2 because I just couldn' [...]

    18. 1227 pages is quite long for a fanfiction, but Merlin's Beard, I wish this one were even longer. The characters development is spectacular and well-connected, nearly fooling me to believe that I was reading the actual sequel of the series. The memory of riding this "feel" train will be preserved. :')This book is far better if you dive into it without knowing what it will be about in advance, and trust me, whatever you guess is is wrong

    19. Powerful story! Harry gets an opportunity to change one thing he didnt do & sees the life he could have had as a result. this story had me in tears & laughing. First half is fully engaging, second half harder to get through because we have to endure Harry's unfulfilled life when he returns. But it starts picking up when he starts making changes to live the way he wants to really live. I'm really gonna miss this author's world and altered characters!

    20. 3.5 starsI liked it when Harry got really absorbed into the glimpse -- it was awesome, and I was pretty sad when it ended as well.It was very detailed, and the relationship between Harry and Draco was lovely. The differences between one world and the next were astonishing. Overall, pretty good story.

    21. One of the best fanfics ive read. Character development is on the spot and the story takes its time which is the best part :)

    22. This is a long free book.i did skip bits as I was running out of reading time, but I did really enjoy it and am looking forward to reading it again when I have more time.

    23. This is quite an interesting read yet a little bit disappointing for me. Harry and Draco are so lovely and adorable and lovable that I can't help having so much feels for them. I love the way they interact with each other and the people around them with interesting and affectionate jibes and mock-insults. I have a special place for Lily in my heart; she is such a sweet, lovely and understanding girl. Although Maura is my favorite too but she didn't exist in the reality of Harry's world, which is [...]

    24. Oh, it's long! So long and yet I put it on rations when I was coming to end :) Idea is lovely and somehow i identify these characters and their life. That You have all the strings at your hand at the end. This story is not all about sex and heat, but when there is sex and passion you can definitely feel it!I liked it but not rushing to find something else to read from this writer.spoiler: (view spoiler)[Loved The glimpse, Harry as carpenter whit injured knee, Draco whit his OCD an all, all the ki [...]

    25. Lately I've read many many HP fics but this is absolutely one of the bests. Not only was it different it was also entertaining. People were in character and their actions were realistic considering each situation they were in. I can so believe that Draco is sarcastic and cold but at the same time so very sweet towards those he loves. And Harry Harry and his changes. I must say I fell in love with Draco just like Harry did. It was so beautifully written, I can't. Read this, it's a must. The chara [...]

    26. I've been hearing tons of rave reviews, but this is turning out to be one of those books I have trouble reading. It's the embarrassment factor. I constantly feel on edge waiting for Harry to make some gigantic blunder in his ignorance. Or rather, yet another gigantic blunder.4% - I don't know if I can do it! This entire concept is just freaking me out. It's not a new concept. I've watched movies like it. But I don't think I can… *Cringe*. He actually mentions his kids!? Gah, shut up, Harry!7% [...]

    27. Every fanfiction by Saras_Girl manages to convince me that THIS should have been Harry's fate. Really, if anyone tried to tell me Harry should have been a carpenter, I would have laughed; but now I believe that fits him quite perfectly (just like being a healer in "Reparations"). This fanfiction was beautiful; I loved how the story developed and how the characters were written, especially those who only receive a side glance in the orignal books. The only (minor) negative aspect is that the fanf [...]
