    1. This is a book I wouldn't normally put here, as a read book since this is a photo portfolio. But it is also a bit, or should I say, much more than just that. Anyone who's into Jim's work and has followed his career knows he is a deep character that is interested in much more than producing a beautiful image with his photograph. From the forests and lakes to the animals that live there, all of the aspects of the northern woods are represented here. This is a stuffing collection that I will buying for myself in the near future.

    4. Beautiful photographs. If you're familiar with the Northwoods of Minnesota, you'll appreciate the beauty that is in this book. Brandenburg also has descriptions of what is in the picture and what that particular day was like. There is a picture for every day of the summer. Very cool.
