    1. I checked this book out when my daughter expressed an interest in learning more about healthier eating. I read it to get some ideas on how I can present information to help her learn more and make smart choices. This book provided those things and more. Clearly written, with great photographs and excellent portion guides, this book really simplifies for children what it means to eat a balanced diet. I'm seriously considering buying a copy to have permanently available at home.

    2. I checked out this book at my local library because I wanted to educate myself on 'Healthy Eating'. My diet had changed (I went vegetarian) so I wanted to be sure I was getting the appropriate amount of nutrients. Although I picked up this book from the juvenile section, it was very helpful! Haha
