It was only 100 pages and Marshall says in the forward that it is a “distillation of [her] previous full-length biography of Mary of Guise.”My decision to read about Mary followed my reading more extensively about her daughter Mary Stewart and John Knox.     2. Good book, finally someone wrote more about Mary of Guise. Unfortunately, sometimes Marshall becomes to romantic and optimistic in her description. Still, this is a really good book about an amazing woman - Mary of Guise.

    3. Mary Of Guise was an amazing woman, truly spectacular. I would love to own this book, but has been out of print for some time.
