    1. I've lived in Southern Alberta my entire life. I went to John Ware Junior High and one of the buildings at my post secondary school was named after John Ware. So when I came across this book a couple months back and flipped through itI thought that it might be an interesting read. I was right. I'm saddened to say that I know a lot less than I should about local history here in Southern Alberta.     2. It was an interesting account, although highly romanticized. I enjoyed reading about the history of this area, and the people who first settled here.
