    1. First paragraph:Sheriff Emma Ross rolled up on the scene to find the ambulance crew leaning against their rig. One of the paramedics had a cut over his eye and was holding a bandage to it. A woman in a pink terrycloth bathrobe sobbed and rung her hands. An atypical night in her quiet little town of 800 souls.3 1/2 stars rounded up, of course! Fast paced, furious action marks this zombie novel, set in a small town that's overrun by reanimated dead. The majority of the scene is set in the town's h [...]

    2. 2.5 StarsInfected is an adequate zombie thriller that is worth a quick read for genre fans. I keep telling myself that I am going to slow down my post apocalyptic reads, but they really are the flavor of the day.The action and the pace is good. The zombies are not of the highest quality. There is little original in these pages. Yet, even with these gripes fans of the genre will not regret reading this book, and possibly this series.

    3. I LOVE the artwork on the cover. It's what first caught my attention. The book was really good. Lots of blood & guts! The only complaint I have is the number of spelling errors (tons!). There is also a place 86% into reading where the wrong character is mentioned. It reads "Ramsey and his men.where it should read "Stamford and his men"Otherwise, I am looking forward to reading the next 2 books in this trilogy.

    4. Awesome! I can't wait to read the next two installments of this trilogy! Excellent and exciting zombie thriller!
