    1. WHAT IT'S ABOUTThe media portrayed the military operation as a complete success, but Navy SEAL Jay Wellman wouldn’t describe it that way. He was there. As he tries to come to terms with his role that fateful night, he notices something different about his teammates and wonders if there may be more to their beliefs than he first thought. When she heard the gunshots, Carina Channing knew the past had caught up with her. She may have changed her last name, but she can’t change who her father is. [...]

    2. I had forgotten how much I liked Abramson's books. Very engaging, and keeps you interested all throughout the story. Throw some romance in there, and you got a winner. Enjoyed the plot, and the characters. And I loved reading about Matt & CJ from Undercurrents , I absolutely love those first three books and have read them many times. Moral Note: Some heavy violence - not too graphic, but there are murders. No language that I remember, clean romance.

    3. This was the first in the "Saint Squad" series. Navy SEALS that are mostly members of the LDS church. After a difficult mission, the Saint Squad is given leave. Jay goes home to his family where he meets Carina and her sister Bianca. Soon the Saint Squad finds itself risking their lives to save Carina and Bianca and their other sister Giovana from their Chicago based Italian mob family. The story went on a little long for me and there were moments I got bored but overall it was a good book and I [...]

    4. I love reading the stories of the Saint Squad!! Jay is on leave after a traumatic job with the Navy SEALs and goes home to Florida to spend some time with his parents. He meets Carina, who's younger sister is training in swimming with Jay's dad. They are in hiding from "the family." Full of adventure, mystery, suspense, and crime well as appearances from many characters from previous books, this was a great read with lots of twists and turns.Content: some violence

    5. The only reason this didn't get 5 stars is that I didn't get all the answers to my questions. There had better be another book about the sisters or else I will have to write my own ending! (which will not be even close to what THA can do!) I read it all in one sitting because I couldn't put it down. I love the Saint Squad series.

    6. I think I may have read too many of this author's books. The first, second, and third were very exciting. Even the fourth and fifth were still pretty good. But now, though the author's writing style has not changed, I find it easy to anticipate exactly what's going to happen. 2.5 stars

    7. Abramson, who is writing the best LDS romance/suspense novels these days, has done it again with this sixth entry in the "Saint Squad" series. I look forward to her new book, which will be out in March 2013.

    8. Action and romance, with a side dish of faith and testimony. For Carina Channing, taking care of her 2 youngers sisters is everything. Ever since the day her mother was murdered and they went on the run, she has been the sole provider and parent for them. Her extended family in Chicago runs the Outfit, which is the Mafia. Despite everything she has done to keep the three of them safe, one day an unwelcome reminder shows up at her door and tells her that it's time for them to return home to Ch [...]

    9. The character's background stories are a bit overkill. Jay, for example, is not just a Navy SEAL, but a member of the team that kills bin Laden. And Carina's father is a Chicago mob boss. I suppose this is done to quickly magnify his capabilities and the seriousness of her situation, but it was a bit too extreme for me. There are way too many plot holes with that big of a story. That being said, I really like Jay and Carina. They are likeable characters; and so is EVERY SINGLE ONE of the support [...]

    10. This entertaining book is about Carina Channing, a daughter of a notorious Chicago crime family. Carina believes she has escaped her family's past-only to have the past come back to haunt her.Jay Wellman is a member of a top secret navy SEAL team on leave for two weeks after a difficult mission that doesn't go exactly as planned. When Carina and Jay meet under stressful circumstances, they find some common ground and are able to help each other.I enjoyed this book for the most part, but I found t [...]

    11. SummaryCarina, Gianna, and Bianca had been running away from their past as long as they could remember. Their father was a member of the Chicago Mafia, and had murdered their mother. Ever since their mom died, Carina had taken care of her two younger sisters. They had remained untouched from their father and his family for several years, until one day when an unexpected visitor came to Denver. Pete Wellman, Bianca’s swim coach, has a son named Jay. Jay is a Navy Seal and meets Carina at the po [...]

    12. I have just recently been reading her books. I have enjoyed them a lot. They are a good LDS fun read. Kept me turning the pages and kept me looking for more of her books to read. I am on the next series now.You will want to read the undercurrent series before reading this one. Also you will want to read “Obsession” before reading this one.Characters later in their lives are in this book from Obsession.

    13. These books are totally my guilty pleasure. LDS romance novels were never going to be my thing, but I can't help it!

    14. This book is about a girl named Carina, her sisters Bianca and Giana, and Jay Welman. Carina's dads side of the family is the Chicago mafia. They are considered the bad guys. Carina and her sisters ran away from them with their mother so that they wouldn't have to live the lifestyle of the mafia. They went to Arizona. She was then introduced to the LDS church by one of their family friends. Her whole family was converted. That was her, her mom and Bianca and Giana. One day her mom tells Carina a [...]

    15. Reviewed by Whitney@Shooting Stars ReviewsI wasn't really sure what to expect when I started reading this book, but I'm so glad I took a chance on it. It was really good. It starts out with Corina and her sisters having lost their mother, they now have to hide away from their "family" also know as the "outfit" who has ties to the Mob. The move to Florida to get away from them, and there Corina meets Jay, a Navy Seal from the Saint Squad. Jay and Corina start to date, but things get complicated w [...]

    16. Loved this book! loved the edge of seat feeling when you can't read fast enough to see what will happen next. Loved that it was a clean, even LDS related novel where the characters had to really hold tight to their belief in marrying only someone that could be with them eternally and not till just death. It's hard to let something that you love go in hopes of having it return. The mob family was a different topic for abramsons' book that I liked.Navy Seal, Jay Wellman was the only non member on [...]

    17. First line:"Carina Channing navigated her way through the outskirts of Denver and listened toher two younger sisters chat about their summer plans."I enjoy reading Traci's stories for three reasons:1. She knows what she's talking about when it comes to knowledge about CIA, FBI and other secretive stuff.2. She develops her all characters really, really, well.3. She always has great romantic tension.Carina's father is a mob boss and in prison for killing his wife. Lou, a friend and bodyguard, has [...]

    19. Book 6 in the Saint Squad Series is another winner! Carina Channing, her mother, and her sisters escaped from the clutches of the Chicago mob, headed by her grandfather. When her mother asks her to take her sisters out for pizza, she gets a terrible feeling. She sends her sisters to a friends home and when she sneaks into the garage, hears gunshots. Once she gets the courage to check the house, she finds her mother dead in her father's lap. Her father was convicted of her mother's murder and Lou [...]

    20. Another Great book in the series! I love how Traci leaves us guessing to the end. I found it interesting how this story focused on the Chicago Mafia and how dangerous they were. I also love how each story is so different from each other. I loved how this one in particular talks about family, the power of pray and how essential the gospel is in our lives. I really loved getting to know Jay's character. Jay is a lot different then the other saint squad members, but in some ways not so different. I [...]

    21. Code Wordby Traci Hunter AbramsonSO GOOD!!So I'm a big fan of Traci Hunter Abramson. In this the sixth book in the Saint Squad series the focus is on the newest member to the squad Jay Wellman. While on leave to Miami after a highly publicized SEAL mission Jay meats Corina, a girl trying to get beyond her past. At fourteen she fled with her mom and two sisters to get away from her Chicago Mafia father and his family. After the death of her mother Corina is left to protect her sisters. When a man [...]

    22. Very clean, fun, and action packed! I love Traci Abramson, and every book she has written! This one just added to the great list she has. This is #6 in the Saints Squad series. From the book: The media portrayed the military operation as a complete success, but Navy SEAL Jay Wellman wouldn’t describe it that way. He was there. As he tries to come to terms with his role that fateful night, he notices something different about his teammates and wonders if there may be more to their beliefs than [...]

    23. She's the converted-to-Mormonism, daughter of a Chicago mafia boss. Her grandfather was THE boss. He's a non-Mormon, Navy Seal on the all-Mormon Seal team. She's hiding from her past. He's trying to forget a recent mission with an episode gone bad. They meet at her sister's coach's swim spot. Oh, yeah, he's the coach's son. It's action-packed and believable. Favorite characters have returned. The only problem I have with a lot of these is that former favorite characters get a bit lost in the dram [...]

    24. Jay is given leave from his normal SEAL duties and has the chance to reflect on life and belief after a narrow escape when the helicopter carrying his team crashes. As the helicopter is falling, he notices the calm of his other teammates which sharply contrasts with the panic of others on the flight and is led to wonder what helps them feel peace. It is during this time of introspection, that he meets Carina and becomes involved in helping her as she is trying to hide from her family mob connect [...]

    25. I would have made this one four stars for plot and characters but for two things1. This one didn't endI have liked this series a lot because each story stands alone and focuses on different characters. This is one of my favorite ways to run a series! Butis book doesn't endLuckily I could jump right into the next book and pretend it was all one!2. I like my LDS books a little lessurchyMost of the books in the series just touched on the religious stuff, which I likeThis one had a little too much f [...]
