    1. Saturn Apartments has been slowly transitions from SF slice of life to an overarching storyline. This volume in particular is almost entirely taken up by that storyline, about a pair of unemployed lower level scientists building a module to take down to the planet. There's quite a bit more than that going on, including a lot more with the class issues set up in previous volumes. The characters were throughly developed in earlier volumes, and their character growth is remaining true. And really, [...]

    2. Not as light as some of the previous volumes with back-stories that explain the heartbreak and heartache of several of the characters. This is another series that is going to break my heart before it's all over.

    3. Oh damn. What a cliffhanger. There's been more action and events in this volume than in the entirety of the series so far! I'm proceeding on to the next volume straight away. Exciting stuff!

    4. Such a sad volume. The division between the levels has never seemed so stark. This volume is definitely less quiet than the others. I'm looking forward to the conclusion, but not without trepidation.

    5. All of the tension that underlay the stories in the previous volumes boils over in this one. Interesting to see it happen.

    6. Excitinge upper and lower level tensions come to a head when disaster strikes the lower levels. Still loving the beautiful art work and "slice of life" style of this manga series.

    7. Yet another couple steps closer to the launch date, will the crew make it on timewhat will the surface be like? This volume really starts to introduce some serious conflict into the story, how far will the members of the secret launch team go to keep their secret safe? For some it seems like it's more about the upper and lower residents of the station rather than discovering what the surface is like.I'm starting to worry about what Mitsu and the others have gotten themselves into, if they are fou [...]

    9. Saturn Apartments seems to be transitioning from a slow burn into a full blown fire in this volume. A number of seemingly random events are now coalescing into a dialogue about the different levels of the rings and hinting at the various things that are actually going on in the Saturn Apartment orbital facility. But all these big questions are taking a back seat to how Mitsu and the other characters are slowly growing together as a community in the lower levels. This is a really strong volume of [...]

    10. Things get ominous in this volume -- a disaster in the lower levels pushes the conflict between the lower and upper levels to a breaking point. Sohta and his compatriots believe that launching a vehicle to the surface might bring people closer together, but what if something goes wrong? My favorite thing in this volume was the insight into Tamachi and what makes him tick. This series is masterful and Hisae Iwaoka's art just seems to keep getting better. Gorgeous.

    11. Things are certainly heating up! Things are coming to as head with the political situation. I'm beginning to wonder if the expedition to Earth's surface is really going to happen. It would be a logical climax, but with only one more volume in the series and so many other things to be resolved Needless to say, I'm looking forward to the next one!

    13. 5 volumes spent building up characters you like, and now it's time for the author to make use of that rapport.

    14. Tensions among the class levels increases after a disaster in this volume and the work to reach the surface continues.

    15. The race to the conclusion is picking up steam. A factory fire helps our protagonists cast aside doubts and muster their courage, becoming the heroes they need to be to make their dreams come true.

    16. La politique personnelle et locale s'en mêle, les événements s’accélèrent et se gâtent, comme on peut le souvent constater dans la vie. Excellente intrigue.
