    1. Originally posted on Love in the Margins.Brandi Collins has a few weeks to get back into shape to show her ex-fiancé, the jerk who dumped her at the altar and made his mum apologise for him, exactly what he’s missing. It’s not that she wants him back—she has too much self respect for that—it’s that her pride is all she has left and she’s damned if she’s going to let Wesley take that too away from her. However, there’s a problem with Brandi’s new low calorie, low men diet. That [...]

    2. Sex, chocolate and a happily ever after (4 stars)(An advance copy of this novel was provided to me for review via Netgalley)Yum. Just yum. Chocolate and a hunky man: together. In one story. If ever there was a winning combination for romance then this is surely it. Adam Ellison is a man on a mission. Fresh out of leaving behind his high-powered job in his family’s business he has set his designs on making his own career for himself. Adam’s career involves cake. And chocolate. In very large q [...]

    3. This book tells the story of Brandi who has swore off two things in her life; chocolates and man. And if you wonder why; here is the reason; She needs to shed pounds of herself to present a thoroughly “new me” in time for her sister’s wedding where her ex fiancé is the best man of the groom. However, the smell of chocolates seeping into her house late at night tempting her and realized that it came from her next door neighbor, Adam. What she never expects was the instant attraction betwee [...]

    4. I really loved this book! First off, it has a heroine (Brandi Collins) who is struggling to lose weight after being left at the altar by her fiance. She's faced with the dilemma of, mysteriously enough, dreaming about chocolate each night after grueling boot camp-style workouts with her friend, Heather. Those dreams are rooted in reality as she soon discovers, because her next-door neighbor is good-looking and mouth-watering-as-fine-chocolate Adam. Adam is more than an aspiring pastry chef; he's [...]

    5. This was so much fun to read. As a sugar addict myself, I could totally relate to Brandi Collins. It's no fun being tempted with sweets when you are working hard to avoid them. When she is left at the altar, Brandi decides to exact revenge by losing weight and getting in shape. She thinks she's losing her mind when she starts smelling chocolate in her condo and after the scent wakes her up one night, Brandi finally traces it to the unit of the new tenant.Adam Ellison has given up a successful li [...]

    6. This was literally a sweet read with some hot passion thrown in from Phyllis Bourne. The storyline was very interesting, and will keep your turning the pages quickly. Brandi and Adam had great chemistry, and their initial meeting was too cute; very creative by this author. All of the mention of chocolate had me drooling at the mouth because Adam's desserts seemed like they were so delectable. I like the way they came together, there was no pretense. Just two people helping each other out initial [...]

    7. Hard to resist- Chocolate desserts, chocolate man, heroine with a mind of her own. Well done. Sexy and sassy.

    8. I’m a sucker for romances that feature chocolate. Not only did the treats that Adam created sound irresistible, but he did too. Yes he was handsome, rich, and could bake up a storm, but he wasn’t a perfect man. He had issues which drove him and that made him a more enticing character. Brandi was an amazing heroine. Her relationship with her mother was an interesting one and I felt badly for what she had to contend with and often times wondered how she was able to. But she was a strong woman [...]

    9. This book was enjoyable and sweet. I had read the second book first (Sweeter Temptation), which was the story about Kyle Ellison, and I had picked up this book to delve into his brother, Adam. The story was well done, and got me hungry with all the food references. The story follows Brandi Collins, a high school teacher whose secret passion is starting her own custom-made purse business, and Adam Ellison, a business entrepreneur whose secret passion is becoming a world-famous pastry chef. Both of [...]

    10. This is the first book I read by Phyllis Bourne. The storyline is really good. I loved Adam's character. I loved Brandi's character too, but I wish she'd spoke her mind more. I didn't like Brandi's mom. This was a really sweet, tasty romance to read & I'm looking forward to reading more books by Ms. Bourne.

    11. Ms. Bourne brought 3 of a girl's favorite things (hot guys, chocolate, & love) together!!! And what a fine job she did! I loved the story from beginning to end. I mean who wouldn't want a hot guy that loves you to feed u chocolate?!!!

    12. I thoroughly enjoyed this storybut who wouldn't love a story about a HOT brother who bakes - anything chocolate!? Definitely a fun read - despite the heroines mother - who got on my nerves. I'm looking forward to reading book 2!

    13. I really enjoy Phyllis Bourne's writing; she really knows how to weave a story. Everything came together beautifully. This was a cute tale, with humor, sex, an original premise, a stacked (not skinny) heroine, a sexy hero, AND chocolate, to boot. Seriously, what more could a reader ask for?

    14. I enjoyed this book. I loved the romance, there was some humor in there as well. The characters were definitely great and well developed. I would read this again.
