    1. [really a 3.5 (:]I loved the world that was built in this novel. Morgan's kingdom is very well set up and described. Princess Morgan, herself, was extremely easy to like. She was no simpering female and could keep up with all her father's knights- having been raised with them. She is such a tom boy!Agnus is one of my favorite characters!     2. This was a very interesting read, and made for a good relaxing weekend read. The characters aren't too complex, but they are very well thought out. They change and evolve throughout the story, some for the better, and some not so much. I love how Princess Morgan interacts with everybody, including the knights and other villagers. Her grandmother is a very interesting character also! There are fun times, horrible sadness, good friendships and familial relationships, and lots of conspiracy and unc [...]

    3. I won this book in a giveaway last summer, and it finally reached the top of my TBR. I had no idea what it was about when I started the first page (cover is deceiving), but I was soon caught up in the story of a feisty, young, independent-minded princess. Parts of the story seemed glossed over and the lack of depth made me wonder why some portions were even added, as they had no impact as the story as a whole.
