    1. Sarah Morgan is my own little glass of Christmas cheer and my end-of-year Morganathon continues with a romantic duology set in one of my favourite places.Welcome to the Lake District, home of snow, rain and neighbours who know what you ate for your dinner!”With doctors, mountain rescue, snow, best-friends-to-lovers, a broken-hearted nurse and a doc who’s the best medicine, you couldn’t ask for more. Well you could, because there are about 6 more books in the Lakeside Mountain Rescue series [...]

    2. 5 - "I've got you and there's no way I'm letting you go." Stars!Sarah Morgan has officially become my go-to Christmas author. Once Upon a Christmas, is actually two of her earlier releases - The Doctor's Christmas Bride & The Nurse's Wedding Rescue, published together as a duology."It's Christmas It's supposed to snow."Although the second book isn't strictly a Christmas story it does run along from the end of the first book, and the first three books in the Lakeside Mountain Rescue series gi [...]

    3. I just LOVE Sarah Morgan's stories! They have such a gentle intensity, loveable characters and always leave me feeling so happy! This book contains 2 stories: Bryony and Jack - both doctors, known each other their whole lives. I love that Bryony is honest with herself about her feelings for Jack. Not only that but she's honest about Jack's feelings for her, telling him exactly how he feels when he wouldn't dare acknowledge it himself! The second story is about Bryony's brother Oliver. Also a doc [...]

    4. Didnt get much from this book at all, took me a long time to read and didn't grip my attention. Was advertised as a Christmas novel judging from the title but I did notice inside that it has previously been published under 2 other names before. Was split into 2 parts and the first part was at least set at Christmas but the other half had nothing to do with Christmas as was set after. Found the story unbelievable and thought the characters didn't act like you would expect people to. Was just a gl [...]

    5. I don't know why I keep being amazed when I read a Sarah Morgan book, because she is consistently brilliant at creating romances to fall in love with yourself, in the most fabulous of locations. This may be one of her slightly earlier books, but its still the same level of quality you know, love and would expect from an author of this calibre. There are two separate stories in this book, which are separated as Part 1 and Part 2, but part 2 is a direct continuation of part 1, but the main charact [...]

    6. 2 Heartfelt, heartwarming, feel-good, leave-you-with-a-smile-on-your-face stories. 2 different and delicious heroes each in his own way. Jack is stubborn and can't see the truth even if it hits him between his eyes. He is in love with Bryony, his best friend since childhood, but he doesn't admit it even to himself. He just becomes all macho and jealous when she decides to date other men cuz her daughter Izzie wants a daddy for christmas. At times I wanted to slap some sense into his thick head : [...]

    7. Two stories in one and admittedly probably my least favourites by Morgan, though she has set a very high bar with my expectations after reading so many of her other more recent releases. It's clear to see just how much she's developed as a writer, as while these were well written, they were lacking some of the magic I've come to expect and were a little repetitive. The fact I put it down at one point to sleep, which didn't stop me previously, tells me my heart wasn't as deeply into it as it shou [...]

    8. Once Upon a Christmas is the second book that I’ve read by Sarah Morgan, but I know it certainly won’t be the last! Last year, I read Angels in the Snow and really enjoyed it, so when I heard about her newest book, Once Upon a Christmas, I jumped at the chance of reviewing it and I am so happy to say that it didn’t disappointThis book is separated into two interlinking stories, one telling the story of Bryony and Jack, the other of Helen, Bryony’s best friend and Oliver, Bryony’s siste [...]

    9. A combination of two stories with character crossover, Once upon a Christmas is the perfect heartwarming romance for curling up with during the festivities.Part one of the story follows Bryony, a young single mum who has been given the task of finding her daughter a father for Christmas. Best friend since childhood, Jack, thinks it's an awful idea and does his best to scupper her dates. You can probably see where this plot is going, but don't be put off, as Sarah Morgan's humour really comes to [...]

    10. I didn't like this book AT ALL, am I really the only one around?I absolutely adore Christmassy reads, that's why I already started this one in July :)I loved Jenny Colgan's 'Christmas at the Cupcake Café' as well as Amy Silver's 'All I want for Christmas'.But I couldn't find much to like in this oneMy biggest problem was that it's not Christmassy enough for me. There's no cosy, wintry, magic atmosphere as in other novels like the ones I mentioned. Moreover, I was lacking believable characters I [...]

    11. I went into this series in completely the wrong order as there was no indication anywhere on any of the books that they belonged to any series of any description. This is the order I read it:1. Angles in the Snow2. Once Upon a Christmas3. Wish Upon a StarThe correct order of the books are:1. Once Upon a Christmas(The Doctors Christmas Bride, The Nurse’s Wedding Rescue.)2. Snowkissed(The Midwifes Marriage Proposal)3. Wish Upon a Star(The Christmas Marriage Rescue, The Midwife’s Christmas Mirac [...]

    12. A nice 'feel good' medical romance about two different situations. In the first part of the book, two doctors, Bryony and Jack who have virtually grown-up together are good friends but unaware that both of them want more from the relationship. Jack however, is scared of commitment. They are forced to reassess their relationship after Bryony's daughter asks for a 'daddy' for Christmas with Jack as the favoured choice. The second half of the book centres around Bryony's friend, Helen and Bryony's [...]

    13. I didnt want this book to end. 2 stories in one that both connect together.A heart warming feel good book. A perfect december read. You will fail not to fall in love with all the characters. Especially Oliver and jack. I've just descovered that there is more books to this one that continue the "The Mountain rescue team" and one that focuses more on the lovely Tom.

    14. set in the same hospital/town and a sequel to Wish Upon a Star it was great to get some more stories with different characters.

    15. this is a wonderful read. it's split into two stories the first one is my favourite of the two single mother tries her hardest to find her daughter a daddy for xmas but things are getting difficult as time progresses. her male best friend is over possessive of the male attention and things become heated for them but do they end up together??ory two is in the same town of the lake district before Xmas and the main character in book 1 is off on a trip and her best friend Helen is house watching af [...]

    16. Reviewed for bookchickcityOnce Upon A Christmas is a deliciously cosy Christmas romance, which hits the spot perfectly if you want to sink into an easy holiday romance. Split into two parts, you get two romances for the price of one, set in the pretty Lake District. The first story follows single Mum and doctor, Bryony, whose daughter, Lizzie has written a letter to Santa asking for a Daddy for Christmas. The thing is, Bryony has been in love with best friend, and fellow doctor, Jack, who’s an [...]

    17. Also posted on This Chick Reads*Copy provided by author in exchange for an honest review*Actual rating 3.5/5WHAT? Surprised I'm still reading Christmas books? Well don't be, because I really don't care if it's February, July or December. I can read Christmas books all year round. Especially if they are written by Sarah Morgan! Last year I read Sleigh Bells in the Snow and I absolutely fell in love with Sarah's writing, so when I was asked to review this book, I really couldn't be happier. There' [...]

    18. Original review posted at serendipityreviewsI am a sucker for Christmas chick lit and Sarah Morgan is fast becoming the author at the top of my list for that genre. I read Wish Upon A Star last year, and I loved it so much that I was really excited to find that this book was set in the same place as the previous one - up in the Lake District with the mountain rescue team who all seem to be looking for love! This author creates some rather swoon worthy masculine lead characters, who swoop in and [...]

    19. Honestly, I went into this book thinking it was going to be light-hearted festive fun with some romance intertwined in the story and while that was partially what I got, it was so much more than that. This book made me feel good and when a book does that, I'm happy to ignore all the negative parts and focus on the great storyline. This book's first half is about Bryony and she is single but her daughter has asked for a father for Christmas and therefore she has one month to find love. Initially I [...]

    20. I really enjoy having a Christmas themed book to read around this time of year, and up until the beginning of the month, I didn’t have one for this year! Then I stumbled across Once Upon a Christmas, and knew that it would be the perfect book to read in December. The book is split into two parts, the first part sharing Bryony and Jack’s story, and the second part with Helen and Oliver’s. The two stories are interwoven but not heavily so, which I really liked, as it was nice to have two sepa [...]

    21. Two festive romances with connected characters and situations.Bryony has been in love with Jack Rothwell ALL her life, she has known him since she was five but he never noticed her as a woman many years later so to try and get him out of her system she slept with someone that resulted in her falling pregnant with Lizzie. Now seven years later Lizzie wants a special Christmas present, it is November and she has already written a letter to Santa requesting a "daddy" under the tree.Bryony is in a fr [...]

    22. I really enjoyed these two stories about Bryony and Helen. They are very light hearted reads and its not too hard to see how the story will work out but the writing is good, the Lake District setting is interesting and the characters are likeable. The first is a tale about Bryony and her daughter Lizzie who wants a dad for Christmas. Bryony decides maybe it is time to start dating again, there is a doctor at the hospital where she works who has been asking her out so she starts seeing him. Howev [...]

    23. This was really a nice, enjoyable read! I haven't read contemporary books for a long time, and this was really pleasurable. This time of the year, it'd be a perfect movie on the Christmas channel on Sky TV, indeed!I loved both stories, the Bryony/Jack and the Helen/Oliver one. Although there were times in which I really disliked Jack, he "came to his senses" at the end, even though I thought he did it too quickly.Oliver and Helen are a totally different story. She is distraught by recent events [...]

    24. Came across this reduced to 99p in Kindle store so gave it a go, it gripped me straight from the start and I have had several late nights reading once settling kids to bed in order to finish. It turned out to be a republishing of two older Mills & Boon books by Sarah Morgan and they were nicely blended together in the middle and enjoyable easy romantic reading but after reading Bryony's and Oliver's stories I am now searching for the older Mills & Boon book of the other brother Tom's sto [...]
