    1. This was short but pulled me in immediately and had me like the characters and ready to follow them. I always like a book with a strong female character and Mo is definitely strong in her own way. The setting is contemporary and makes it perfect. The language is what you would expect with little quirks to keep it interesting from both the Brits and Americans. The relationships are very real and do not seem forced or rushed but built from the bottom up.Imogene 'Mo' Tuttle had worked as a private [...]

    2. A Very Shitake Christmas by Patricia Mason was free in the kindles store a few weeks ago. This is a novelette featuring Mo and Ross. It's June and Ross's father has announced he is coming for Christmas. Only he doesn't mean December, he means now. In the meantime Mo is called in my her former boss and asked if she would take a job on contract. Just a one time deal. She really needs the money, so she agrees. Her job ends up getting mixed up with her personal life and it all turns into a big messy [...]

    3. Mo Tuttle takes a independent job to do a personal serve on an actor doing performance art, but turns out he is a nut case. Mo gets the shock of her life when her boyfriend Ross Grant's father seems to be connected to the turn of events. Join me in finding out what happens in this Christmas in June read. Very cute story with a strong story line. Great cast right down to the temperamental cat. Enjoyable and Very deserving of this ratinguldn't stop reading!

    4. Okay read about an idiot soon to be father in law and his warped sense of humor and a performance artist/criminal who tries unsuccessfully to keep his family. The couple are in love and don't let anything come between them.

    5. Fun novellaSo now I have to ready the other books in this series. My interest is peaked! This was a funny little story that has an unexpected ending. I love reading all the short, funny Christmas stories durning the holidays.

    6. Mo is in deep trouble when she funds herself celebrating Christmas in June at the behest if her boyfriend's father. Throw in a performance art loving Santa, and the shitake gets crazy.

    7. It was good for a quick read. I'm not sure if it was free or 99 cents, but that's about the worth of it. Cute twist at the end.

    8. Good story. I wish it was longer, a little more fleshed out. Mo and Ross are great characters, I just was not as impressed as I am in other stories Patricia Mason has written.

    9. A short story. Some editing issues but overall a fun, light read. Hoping there'll be more Mo & Ross )and Leo) in our future!
