    1. This book was far more than I expected it to be. It's written for and geared at high school students. The text is informative and the journaling/writing activities are very appropriate. Teens are asked to identify and confront their fears. The book takes a holistic perspective toward healing that is grounded in mindfulness and working on "being in the now."     2. A really great comprehensive book. Easy to understand, and easily dive into -- very approachable. I'm not a teen, I got this book as A Giveaway, but I will say that I think this would be a good candidate for a book to gift someone who you think may be having some emotional issues, who needs some help managing, in particular, school anxieties. It's in an easy-to-follow workbook format and isn't too in-your-face regarding psychoanalysis, making the reader feel self-conscious or neurotic for seeki [...]

    3. i didn't finish it although i loved what i read. I just couldn't interest my teens in either reading it or participating with me. but i did like the mindful meditations that were presented. i know that the meditation class I took for myself was helpful in my own life.
