    1. I'm a little sorry to say I didn't like this book. For a published book, it was terribly, or maybe even not, edited at all. Within just the first few pages there were so many grammatical errors I had a hard time ignoring them. For example one character that is meant to be from the 18th century says "I never seen you around before". If he's from a proper time period, shouldn't he know how to speak proper English?Even if I could get past the bad grammar, the lack of consistency gets me still. At on [...]

    2. When I first heard the name and then saw the cover I kind of expected something campy like Buffy the movie. I was pleasantly surprised. Fast paced, full of action and draws you in from the beginning. Never a dull moment. It is short and has none of the lag that most books have. Every chapter had a twist that blew my mind. And just remember to read last 20% during the day. Really creepy. I can't wait until book 2 is released and some loose ends are tied.

    3. I enjoyed this novella about a newborn vampire struggling to accept her situation. This book starts out interesting with a girl taking a dare and ending up getting turned by a gorgeous vamp boy that can’t bear to kill her. Then she must deal with her family, school and her friends as a vamp and it’s tougher than she thinks. This story was good. It hooked me from the beginning and it kept me turning the pages rapidly. Kayla’s character was interesting and she had some good support in her tra [...]

    4. I received an e-ARC copy of this book from the author in exchange for an honest review. Thanks Heather! First of all, I Love the cover of this novella, red roses and vampires are a few of my favorite things, so naturally I wanted to read it based on the cover alone. I am not into reading YA as much anymore, but this little read grabbed me from the start. -I had Kindle problems right in the middle of reading it. I know, a readers worst nightmare come true.- The characters are well developed, pers [...]

    6. A real page turner! I can't wait to read what happens next! Should be interesting, although I wish this one hadn't been so short.
