    1. Aimee Donovan is a nurse in 2010. It's during one of her shifts that she meets a cantankerous but seemingly harmless old man who shares her love of the outdoors and Yellowstone National Park. (Aimee is an avid backpacker and hiker) During one of their conversations, he tells her he is a time traveler and can send her into the past 200 years to experience what Yellowstone was like before the white man explored it. He'll send her for 3 months and pick her up and return her home after her grand adv [...]

    2. Yellowstone Heart Song by Peggy L. Henderson is an adventure time travel historical romance, particularly appealing to those who love the wilderness. Who hasn’t imagined what it was like to live in the American frontier – to be the first people to co-exist with Native Americans? This book brings that dream alive. I’ve included my own Yellowstone photos at my blog as incentive to visit this awesome National Park. Why was this book in Dorine’s TBR? After reading Letters from Yellowstone by [...]

    3. Yellowstone Heart Song by Peggy Henderson is a time slip romance that was an unexpected delight. It follows Aimee Donovan, a nurse from 2010, as she travels back two hundred years in time to 1810 and meets Daniel Osborne, an incredibly hunky trapper, who turns out to be the love of her life. Ms Henderson obviously knows the Yellowstone area well and her love for it shines through in the book. I enjoyed the tracking and hunting ‘ranger’ knowledge Aimee learns from Daniel and the glimpse into [...]

    4. Every once in a while a book comes along that just hits all the right buttonsyou know, you're in just the right mood, the characters feel real, and it's a great story. That's what Yellowstone Heart Song was for meloved it!5 ★

    5. My Blog reviewAuthor: Peggy L. HendersonGenre: Time Travel RomanceSource: Kindle Freebie278 pages After finishing Peggy L. Henderson's book Come Home to Me I was looking at her other books on and realized that the first book in the Yellowstone Romance series was also a kindle freebie. I jumped at the chance to read this book as well. I absolutely loved Come Home to Me and while I didn't like Yellowstone Heart Song quite as much I still liked it a lot. One of the main reasons that I didn't like [...]

    6. This was a great time travel historical/Daniel Boone story. I was surprised I liked it. Although, I really want a Daniel. My only question is:If you have the choice of going back in time & you can take what you want Why leave everything back home & not take your pots & pans that aren't availabe (pie pan is what I am specifically thinking of) AND more medical supplies & drugs you know you can't get then ESPECIALLY if they are freely available. (Tylenol, Advil, More lidocaine, betad [...]

    7. This was a really good book. Well researched and just kind of amazing. I loved the time travel take on Yellowstone National Park 200 years ago. Daniel was the ultimate Alpha male. Living off the land, hunting and gathering for food. Aimee was Ana amazing spirit. Beautiful and open to new experiences. Though, like her, being a nurse, I'd take back a bunch of medical supplies. Very enjoyable time travel romance. This had very limited sex, but some one said it was more "heated than she usually read [...]

    8. This is Book 1 in the Yellowstone Romance series. A well written, pleasant read (freebie on ) involving 2 likeable characters from a different time. Very enjoyable on a rainy day.

    9. I got this free from .This is book one in a series. I really enjoyed this book. I felt Henderson did a great job telling the story. The author started with Amiee entering Yellowstone Park in 1810. At first I thought this book should have started at an earlier point, but later I changed my mind. I felt the little sense of mystery, mostly for the characters, was part of the enjoyment with the book. Daniel is very likable. I really liked Henderson's Indian characters. Elk Runner was great. Aimee wa [...]

    10. Whew! This is the last review for my binge Kindle reading this weekend. Three and a half stars for this Kindle freebie, a time-travel romance where an avid back-packer gets yanked 200 years into the past (for reasons that don't hold up really well under scrutiny, but whatever) and meets the hunky mountain man of her dreams. The author obviously loves Yellowstone and the wilderness, and that comes through in her writing. Whether it was all realistic or not, I'll have to leave to a better survival [...]

    11. I usually have a very difficult time with time travel romances because they are not always plausible for me. This was not the case with Yellowstone Heart Song. I thoroughly enjoyed every moment of this book and found myself lost in the pages. I could actually see the beauty of Yellowstone before it was ever a park thanks to Ms. Henderson's remarkable descriptions. And the explanation for time travel did not leave me shaking my head.I thoroughly enjoyed the story. It was the kind of novel where y [...]

    12. I am so in love with this story. I don't usually read time travel, or historicals, but this one caught my eye. Daniel is definitely a man's man, but he quickly fell for a bright, fun loving, resourceful woman named Aimee. There is some history, but not a lot. Most of it is survival stuff, and romance, and some Indians.I do recommend this book.

    13. I love time travel stories, so I was very interested in reading this. I liked the main characters, for the most part, but there were times that Aimee was very aggravating - such as the way she refused to listen to Daniel's words of advice of the dangers in the area and did what she wanted. The romance was good, though it was a little more detailed than I prefer in my reading. I didn't understand Aimee's thought process in the ending, (view spoiler)[why she left everything behind (beside her jour [...]

    15. I have to tell ya, the Daniel Osbourne in my head (and on the front cover) is one sexy, sexy man. Huge, muscular, scarred, virileYumm. He's macho, manly, and very hot! This book was a very sweet treat to get involved in! I'm glad I got a chance to review this novel. This story gives Twilight-Zone a whole new meaningIt's so fantastically original. I've never read anything quite like it. It's weird a good, intriguing kinda way. I can honestly say I absolutely loved reading this book. The beginning [...]

    16. Yellowstone “Heart Song”By Peggy L. Henderson RT Book Rating: ♥♥♥♥♥RT Cover Rating: oooo“You are my heart love”, The Story of Aimee Donovan and Daniel Osborne.First let me tell you that this is the best book I’ve read in a long time. I literally could not put it down.Aimee, an ER nurse in California is full of adventure and loves to hike the wilderness in Yellowstone. She’s just broken her engagement to Brad, when she meets a patient Zach Osborne. But Zach is just not an or [...]

    17. I tend to have a love hate relationship with time-travel books. This one falling it the love category. Really well crafted story with great twists and turns. I loved the way it started, it picks up with Aimee in 1810, as she wanders you get the whole story of how she came to be here rather than 2010. Thank goodness she actually has some survival training, too bad she did not prepare better. I loved her spirit and energy. She does a great job of rolling with the punches.Daniel takes a while to wa [...]

    18. synopsis:aimee is a nurse, and is offered the opportunity by one of her patients to get away for three months. she wants to get away from her ex, who doesn't believe that it's over. the catch is that aimee is going to be sent back in time. she doesn't believe it, but when civilization disapears around her, she is forced to deal with something that she thought could never happen. daniel's blood brother tells the tale of someone falling from the sky. daniel doesn't believe him, but goes to check i [...]

    19. in yellowstone heart song a girl named amiee donovon is a nurse and avid backpacker in modern day, when a patient of her suggests he can take her back in time so she can backpack in the true wilderness she just thinks hes a delusional old man and tells him it would be a dream. what she didn't know was that he was telling the truth, so all of the sudden Aimee is stuck 200 years in the past with three months to her patient said hed collect heris novel was really gripping and i read it pretty much [...]

    20. I love historical romance. This book was along that lines in a totally different direction for me. I really enjoyed the historical aspect of the mountain/native american raised man meets head strong UIC nurse. Daniel Osborne (aka Trapper mountain man) stumbles upon ever helpful out door adventurer Amiee. Amiee(nurse in 2010) who has a passion for backpacking, and putting her nursing skills to good use. After a chance encounter from a patient who has great tales of time travel, Amiee is plopped d [...]

    21. I am not usually for time travel booksbut I have to say, this one was well worth reading to the end. I was totally different than I had expected. I have read other reviews about how could Aimee go back to 1810 with out taking things from her present day life, like a pie pan, more medications or things that would help her cope.BUT if one would remember, she did not think Zack Osbourne was telling her the truth about time travel and just went along with the old man. BUT to her amazement, she did t [...]

    22. Honestly, I was surprised by this book. It was a freebie on and I wasn't expecting much from a freebie. I must also tell you that I am not a fan of historicals for the most part. However this story was a delight, from the vivid details in the scenes to the oh-so-yummy hero, Daniel. The heroine, Amiee was enjoyable as well with the only thing that bothered me about her was that she supposedly had all this knowledge on backpacking through the wilderness yet she early on stumbled upon a bear. The [...]

    23. I have to say that overall this was a decent book. I tend to bored with stories very descriptive, went to the store, got in my car, drove to another store, picked up mom, yada - yada - yada. Sometimes they can get over descriptive of everything where simplicity should possibly be better observed. There are parts that kinda did just that at the beginning but then there where parts where the story within the story was brilliant. Example at the beginning when Daniel goes into the story about the sk [...]

    24. Well, this was definitely one of the best time travel books I've ever read! The love story between Daniel and Aimee is just too beautiful to put into words. I'm not an outdoors girl by any stretch so I admire Aimee's resilience and courage when she finds herself in a world that she's both familiar but unfamiliar with at the same time She was very headstrong and while this frustrated Daniel to no end, I know that was the one main facet of her personality that he fell in love with the most. While [...]

    25. I loved this story. Never having read this author I wasn't sure what to expect. The fact that it was a freebie didn't really figure in, as I've read good/bad and awful no matter the cost. I have the next book in this series and can't wait to read it.The characters in the book are well developed. Only issue I had with that was Aimee's obeying Daniel's "orders". She had just ended an engagement because her fiancee was too controling. Finally I put her actions down to the fact that it was a differe [...]

    26. Absolutely wonderful! I adore all the characters and the setting is amazing as well. I have never been to Yellowstone but I want to go so badly now! Aimee is a wonderful lead character! She's spunky and outspoken and is definitely someone I would admire in my real life. Daniel is the quintessential heart throb! Who wouldn't fall in love with him. By far one of the BEST books I've read in a long time! My heart was more involved with this story than anything I've read recently. I felt their joy an [...]

    27. Aimee Donovan is a modern-day nurse transported to 1810 Yellowstone. Once there, she meets trapper Daniel Osborne. Aimee’s curiosity and delight in experiencing the past is soon overshadowed by the harsh realities of the land and the people in it. The growing relationship between her and Daniel fills the first half of the story, while the second half deals with the dilemma of Aimee returning to her own time after developing strong feelings for the rugged mountain man. This is a romance novel i [...]

    28. 5 Amazingly Fantastic Stars!!I loved this book!! It was brilliant! It was FREE on for Kindle. I just finished this book and I'm feeling so many emotions right now?? I'm smiling but there are tears! This story captivated me from the start, it was so well written, well paced, with great chemistry between our Hero (Daniel) and heroine (Aimee). The romance was sweet, steamy and full of angst. There was action and suspense throughout, which I love in a romance. This story ticked all my boxes and the [...]

    29. Oh, I loved this book so much! I read Come Home to Me first which lead me to wanting to read ALL of Peggy's books. This book actually made me cry a little bit. I truly felt Aimee's heartbreak and pain when (view spoiler)[ she got sent back to present day against her will and was missing Daniel so much. They had a good life and loved each other so much! But honestly, I could've slapped her for not coming clean with him sooner. She should've just told him the truth. He knew something was up.(hide [...]
