    1. Given a copy of the book from the author in exchange for an honest review***Guest Review From Amy Conley For The Nerd Girl Page***Amelia Hamilton is trying to make a new life for herself and forget her haunting past but it seems life has other plans in store for her. Surrounded by secretive friends, an abusive and hateful boyfriend, and a demanding job. Things spiral out of control after a trip to the beach and Amelia soon learns one decision can affect many more and she's in deeper than she eve [...]

    2. The main character Amelia is very interesting. She has a dark past and it seems to have left her scarred. She's in a relationship that's not good for her at all. I am thinking that is because of her past. There is another male character that is just a friend, but the story makes you feel they should get together. Something happens while Amelia is at the beach with her friends. It's secretive and dark. The incident makes you want to know more and find out what is going on.The story starts out int [...]

    3. I loved the parts pertaining to Amelia's past best. It fleshed out the character and deleted the feeling so many shorts leave - one of wanting. Amelia is a good solid character, not so herboyfriend. The dark and gory sections were done realistically and added to my enjoyment of the book in total. WaAr

    4. This is the prequel to the main book Revealing Hamilton. It gives you the beginning of where Amelia, Kyra, Janae, and Connor fit into each other’s lives. Amelia has been receiving calls with no one on the other end starting the process that leads into the beginning of this series.

    5. This prequel was short but most definitely sweet. This book was a rollercoaster of emotions, but I felt like I really got to know the main character and her friends. It made me hungry to know more, I can't wait to read book one!

    6. This prequel was given to me by the author in exchange for an honest review. This is the prequel for Sarah’s series; JackRabbit 7. The prequel gives you a sample of Sarah’s style in writing and lets you decide if you want to read more.Amelia Hamilton has good friends, a job and a boyfriend. What more could she want? Ok, she lives in a part of the town known for drug dealers, shootings and fights. Yes, her boyfriend got some ”issues”, but it could be worse, right? And now Connor asked her [...]

    8. **Originally written for Book Bliss book blog. I received a copy of this book in exchange for an unbiased and honest review**Review:4.5 starsGeneral: This book was a great little intro read. There was just enough information floating around to realize you were about to get involved in a much bigger story. The plot was a great pace and filled with both entertaining moments as well as moments where you could feel a sense of something wasn't right or was about to be not right as well as the darknes [...]

    9. Review: pRevealing Hamilton by Sarah Jayne CarrI received this book as a gift from the author in exchange for an unbiased reviewWhere to begin with this captivating yet, emotionally charged and compelling introducton into a world of abuse, greed, and secrets? The author has done a fantastic job of tackling a difficult subject--domestic abuse, for one. This prequel sets up the backgrounds of the major characters in a very clear, clean and picturesque way. Amelia, our main character is a strong-wi [...]

    10. Prevealing Hamilton: A JackRabbit 7 Prequel by Sarah Jayne Carr The prequel to Revealing Hamilton has Amelia Hamilton trying to forget her past. She has an abusive boyfriend, her friends seem to be hiding things from her, she just wants to lead a normal life.A great informative story, with a bit of a background on Amelia. Well written, I really got the feel of what she is going through. I read Revealing Hamiltonand loved it, I am now reading book three in the Jackrabbit 7 series, Embracing Hamil [...]

    11. I read pRevealing Hamilton after I read Revealing Hamilton. I have to say, this prequel set up the series nicely! After I read this, I went back and re-read Revealing Hamilton, and the prequel did so much to enhance the experience. She did a great job introducing us to Amelia and Don - a nice preview of their relationship. With just the right amount of creepiness, the scene in Amelia's apartment had me holding my breath. If you've already read Revealing Hamilton, read this and then re-read it. Y [...]

    12. This was a good short prequel.I haven't read this series before and I figured I should start with this one. This short story does give insight to the main character, Mia. And a bit how she grew into the woman that she is. The one thing that bothered me throughout this entire story was that there was no physical description of her. I couldn't get into the story because I couldn't give her a face! In this prequel the other characters had at least one or two description factors but Mia had none. An [...]

    13. I was offered this book by this amazing author. I really enjoyed and and am now quite intrigued as to the next chapter of the story. I had to buy the next book and am looking forward to seeing what happens next. I would also say that Sarah communicated directly with me and her personal attention to her readers is incredible and I had not even read one of her books yet. Not only a 5 star book but a 5 star author. :)

    14. A short prequel into the life of Amelia Hamilton gives us more insight of the novel and the series, and her as a character. One word for us meat eaters - chicken. It doesn't give up too much information, but if you've read her first novel, then it gives you just enough. In short, it's a well written piece, that leaves us wanting another shot of JackRabbit7into our bloodstreams!

    15. Reviewed by NinaThis was one of the smallest and cutest prequels I’ve ever read. You can see how naïve was Amelia before everything happens. How she leaved her life when she knew nothing about her past. And generally, you read the story thinking of how a small miscalculation in time can lead to a series of events and a change of a person’s whole life.

    16. Great readA little look at Amelia and her friends before the events in Revealing Hamilton. It's fascinating. I read it out of order but I still think it could be read before or after Revealing Hamilton and still be just as intriguing! The Jackrabbit 7 series is unbelievably exciting and I'm only into book 2! I can't wait for the rest.

    17. Extremely fast read And a great way to pull a reader in the with just a little back story to understand the beginning of Revealing Hamilton. I always love a little back story. Now to understand the break in!

    18. What a fantastic prequel! A short, concise view of the history of Mia. Great teaser! We are given a glimpse of Mia's past to help understand the person she has become. Loved the friendship history also! I am hooked!

    19. This is a short story that will give you a hint of what makes all the characters tick as well as Amelia. Can't wait to read more from Sarah Jayne Carr. A definite must read
