    1. The prose novel of “Oh My Goddess!”This isn’t a manga but a prose novel (featuring some illustrations) of the Japanese franchise “Oh My Goddess!”Creative Team:Writer: Yumi Tohma (Seiyu (voice actress) of “Urd” character)Illustrations: Kosuke Fujishima (Franchise Creator) & Hidenori Matsubara (Character Designer in OVAs and Anime series)WHAT IN HEAVEN IS THIS?!If you are still wondering what this book is, well, as I commented above, this isn’t a manga, this isn’t a graphic n [...]

    2. I expected this to be terrible. It was far better than I had any right to expect. Give it was written by the woman who voiced Urd in the Anime, I thought it would be centered on that character. But it wasn't. The author clearly had a great depth of knowledge of the characters and the series. She navigated a very fine line between sticking within established storylines and being inventive. A very well done job.If you love the series, you will love the book. If you are not familiar with the series [...]

    3. Reset ButtonAverage guy, average lifeenm! There's a goddess who says she's willing to grant you one wish! Keiichi Morisato, lucky guy huh? Belldandy, goddess first class grants Keiichi's wish, for her to stay by his side forever. It sounds romantic but it's one of those romances that don't get anywhere. Urd,(half)goddess second class and Belldandy's older sister, tries to get the romance moving. Skuld, goddess second class and youngest sister, stops it. Imagine all this occurring in a temple giv [...]

    4. I think this one probably deserves 2.5 stars, but I leaned toward three on it probably due to nostalgia.I want to preface this by saying that I absolutely love the actual manga for this series. I have always loved them, especially as the art style continued to develop and shift. Second, I do want to say that I'm reviewing an English translation of a story initially written in Japanese. I'm hopeful not too much got lost in translation, but it is always something to take into account.First things [...]

    5. Something is wrong with the Yggdrasil computer system and Peorth calls Skuld for help. A bug comes through the home phone. Meanwhile Megumi and Keiichi are on their way to school using a motocycle but, on the way there, there's an accident and Keiichi dies. The situation with the computer system gets worse as various gods and goddesses flee heaven. It's Ragnarok, the Twilight of the Gods, as some of the goddesses and gods begin to vanish. The only way to right things is to restore the system, set [...]

    6. Not bad for fans of the series, but the characters were flat. The plot started out thin and got a bit better towards the end. The end . . . did it end? It's one of those endings that leaves you wondering. If it were written by an American, this kind of ending might indicate a plan for continuing the story in another book, but other cultures don't mind leaving things up to the reader's imagination. So far I haven't read any Japanese light novels that were hard to put down. I was more involved dur [...]

    7. yay for this series. it started out as a manga and an anime series and then a movie and so on and so forth. then one of the voice actors goes to the creator and asks to write a companion novel. by the waye does a great job. it holds well with the series and does it a great amount of justice. rocklld then rock againd if you have time go ahead and roll again.

    8. It wasn't bad. A kind of elseworlds novel. At times thought the characters came off kind of weird or cheesy. I really like the manga though so I read this too. If you like the comics you'll probably enjoy this too. It's also written by urd's voice actress.

    9. This is not a comic book. :D I've been a fan of the series for the past half decade but there's no real ending in sight. (there hasn't been one for the past 20 years) The story stayed true to the characters in the comics. The story line was well thought out.
