This is NOT an exhaustive tome, by any stretch, but it is a good introduction to the beliefs and legends of the Huldufolk (Icelandic for "Hidden People") and gives reasonable renditions with good illustrations of some of the best-known stories about them. It gets four stars more in comparison to other books available in English about the Hidden People, rather than because it's really an amazing book in and of itself.
