    1. What do you do when you're a bloodthirsty male who thrives on carnage and bloodshed in your novels and your friend on a critique site asks you to read her paranormal romance novel? If you're like me, you read it out of obligation, figuring you owe it to her for critiquing YOUR book, even though you can't stand the paranormal romance genre. So you read it. And as you check out the Prologue, you think 'Damn son, I think she has something GOOD here!'And so it was that my first foray into the Paranor [...]

    2. A romantic story about an angel who finds love with a human. Tina did a fantastic job breathing life into her characters. Can't wait for more.

    3. I really wanted to like this book. I appreciate what an accomplishment it is to write a book and get it published. The plot was good. Long ago there were endless battles between the archangels and the demons. The demons regenerated so quickly that the five angels could not overcome them. With the help of God, the angels were able to imprison the demons within the earth. For millenniums the archangels took turns standing guard until an earthquake released the demons. And so the archangels set them [...]

    4. Great story of how an angle falls in love with a mortal. Tina did an excellent job with the writing and plot.

    5. Favorite Line(s) An angel walked into her life and right out. Why did she feel such a loss for someone she barely know?I don't usually put 2 favorite lines but I have to put this one tooYES DEAREveryone knows I love me some Angels books and Gabriel was fabulous! It was filled with love, laughter, faith, kicking butt, and of course some amazing ANGELS! Gabriel is an archangel tasked with killing the Kematian Demons (along with his brothers) while fighting one night he gets hurts and was almost de [...]

    6. This book was different from anything I've read here lately. It was "Biblical" without being preachy. It was very fast paced. Almost too fast paced though. I felt like the two main characters fell in love way too fast. I really wanted to see their relationship build more. In fact, I wanted more character development in all the characters. I did like how we didn't have to wait for 'action'e book was full of it from beginning to end. There were some nice little twists involving the Kematians too. [...]

    7. When demons break ancient bonds, a love-match between a valiant archangel and a selfless nurse bring humanity's last hope—but contagion from the demons threaten their newly developed bond.I'm in an angels mood of reading lately and I like the beginning of this series. Putting this author on my list of ones to watch. Excellent combination of great writing, romance, and a sexy hero.

    8. I loved this. The heat between Calla and Gabriel was palpable. It's a great read, and I'm so looking forward to the next book of Ms. Pollick's.

    9. 4 and a half stars! In this story you meet and fall in love with the ever learning of how to use sarcasm – Archangel Gabriel. Who long ago, he and his brothers were in charge of keeping watch of the prisoners they were holding “The Kematians”, winged-demon like creatures who are Hell bent on destroying all of humankind. Then suddenly an earthquake destroys their prison and they escape. Now Archangel Gabriel and his brothers must separate and hunt them down all over again. Gabriel who was on [...]

    10. I received Gabriel as a prize in a fun giveaway directly from the author, whose brilliant mind and the books that come out of it I adore. After reading Shadow Of Hope, I was totally stoked to dig into Gabriel. I have had this lined up to read for a couple of weeks now, but with everything going on, it was put on the backburner until yesterday when I finally had time to sit down and finish it.I loved it. Tina might laugh at me. Her books always give me moments of feeling uncomfortable because thi [...]

    11. The first book in a series is always a little tricky, especially for a new author. It has to be good enough to interest those reading it in coming back for more - to read the rest of the series - but not so good that the other books might look a little pale compared to it. It is not an easy line to balance on but Tina Pollick seems to have done it!Another important thing about a series is that you must meet and be interested in the lives of more than just the main hero/heroine in the current boo [...]

    12. Playing catch up with reviews and this one seems to be the first on my list. Why? Well, because I have no clue why this got published. Not to be a dick or anything, but the plot had more holes in it than swiss cheese, and the character development wasn't there at all. I found that the author forced the two into love, when it really wasn't there. It is a lot of work to write a book and I get that. However, here is a case where the author should have taken more time to understand what they were wr [...]

    13. GABRIEL (KEMATIAN HUNTER) by Tina PollickPUBLISH DATE: January 22, 2103REVIEW BY: Reading In Pajamas/DonnaRATED: 4 StarsREVIEW:Calla’s very modern day “prove it to me” attitude was evident when she was hesitant to believe in angels even though she carried a special healing ability within her. Gabriel lived his whole existence loving mankind as a whole and was unprepared for the feelings he had for her. Their struggle to come to grips with their growing emotions grew with their struggle to [...]

    14. Gabriel is the first book in Tina Pollicks Kematian series. Archangel Gabriel was injured during a fight with Kematians(demons) and nurse Calla healed him. Soon afterwards she was attacked and bitten, Gabriel saved her but she was infected and now together they are trying to find the cure and fight the demons.I really enjoyed this book.It was fast paced maybe too fast but great world building, great characters and great romance.I loved the whole Archangel fell in love with mere mortal. Can't wai [...]

    15. It's entirely possible it would have ended up being a good book. Really. Unfortunately I didn't manage to read more than 20 pages. The writing is amateurish at best. Both main characters talk and react like teenagers and the editing needs work. All in all there was nothing I actually liked here apart from the main idea.

    16. This was a paranormal romance book that I personally enjoyed which had me looking forward to reading more books by the author, Tina. The story has an excellently written plot with great storyline that I found myself really interested in and finishing it faster than I really wanted it to end.

    17. Gabriel is an emotional, action-packed story of angels and demons swirling around a strong, colorful female protagonist. The bad guys could’ve used a little more attention, but in the main, Tina’s tale has everything a reader of paranormal action-romance could want, served up in fine, vivid style.

    18. Archangel Gabriel falls in love with a beautiful, cheeky nurse who has saved his life, while fighting demons who want his death. This is an intriguing, action-filled and fast-paced story, and I can’t wait to read Tina Pollick’s next release!

    19. I loved this book. It made me laugh. It held my interest & most importantly, it made me cry. Not many books have made me cry. I don't know about other girls, but I love a book and/or movie that makes me cry.Kuddos on this book Tina Pollick, very well written!

    20. I was hooked from the start! The chemistry between Gabriel and Calla is lovely and Hot! This is a series in the making!

    21. Great read!! Once I started reading I didn't want to stop. Excellent characters and great dialogue! I can't wait for the next one in the series (especially the one about Michael).
