    1. Disclaimer: I received a free digital copy of this book from NetGalley in return for an honest review. My review was not required to be positive. All thoughts and opinions expressed below are entirely my own.My mom was diagnosed with celiac disease recently. Yeah, what are the odds that she's one of the people who actually can't have gluten for health reasons? And boy does she miss it - sometimes to the point that she will sneak a roll or pizza despite knowing that it will make her sick later. On [...]

    2. Its that time again where I get obsessed with cookbooks!!!! And netgalley has quenched my need and rocked it! This review covers Gluten free- breakfast/brunch and beyond… 4 free stars I do not have a gluten allergy but I have a fat kid allergy where I love to eat and want to be a bit healthier. This cookbook rocks because its bread but gluten free. I know I have tried using a few online recipes for soda muffins and pumpkin muffins so I am interested in how this will play out. Love the pictures [...]

    3. Some very nice GF ideas for brunch and dessert, though most of them aren't quite my idea of breakfast (tea/coffee cake for breakfast?! Probably not). In fact, none of the coffee cake recipes appealed to me, most of them had just a bit too much sugar for my liking. That said, I really loved the section on waffles since they are among my favourite brunch and afternoon tea ideas! I made Amendt's sour cream waffles last night and ate almost the entire batch myself, loved them so much. And the good t [...]

    5. I've heard this craze over a gluten-free diet sweeping the nation. Not because of dietary needs but just because. So I decided to give this book a shot. I'm a huge gluten eater. Sorry, but I am. I love egg sandwiches in the morning, pb & j for lunch and rolls with my spaghetti dinner. So for me, this was the ultimate test. I tried the Ranch Rolls (rolls made with ranch packet seasoning) and although they lacked the ranch flavor (the Mr. and I put ranch dressing ON the rolls themselves) the t [...]

    6. I have to start this review by saying how impressed I am with this book. From the way it has been written, to the detail for people who are new to Gluten Free cooking, to the variety in each section of the book, this is one of the best gluten free cookbooks I've picked up.Linda J Amendt admits in her opening to the book that she herself doesn't have coeliac disease or a gluten intolerance. But she does have food allergies and friends with gluten intolerances and so takes the need to be careful w [...]

    7. Gluten-Free Breakfast, Brunch & BeyondBy Linda J. AmendtIf Gluten-Intolerant-diagnosed thought Baked Goods were no longer available, think again! This Gem of a cookbook does more than list recipes; it has sections detailing what gluten is and where to find it in order to avoid it. It has sections on alternative flours to use and resources to buy them. Also, she has tips about leavening, sugars, and whatnot to make the recipes even better. Many of the recipes include pictures, which is extreme [...]

    8. A few years ago I became highly allergic to a number of foods, additives, medications, chemicals and many environmental toxins. Many of the additives in foods are harmful to our bodies, and mirror heart problems, among others. (have the tests to prove it). After suffering with years of pounding heart issues and anaphylaxis attacks (very scary), allergies, ear problems, headaches, while maintaining food journals, allergy doctor visits, tests, monitoring everything, and never leaving the house wit [...]

    10. This awesome book was provided to be by NetGalley for my honest review so here it is:I am not allergic to Gluten although I am sensitive to it and my son is Autistic so it doesn't really do great things for him either. When I saw this book I got very excited because I felt that breakfast was so limited without Gluten but Linda Amendt sure did blow that out of the water. There are a TON of awesome recipes in this book and I can't wait to make them all. I liked all of the in depth information she [...]

It not only provides 100 excellent recipes for gluten-free eating, but is also a treasure trove of information on the subject. 15. I am looking into new recipes and found this cookbook as an option for a child who has bad allergies. If you are living the Gluten-Free life, you might want to try some of the breads, muffins, pancakes, waffles, and other breakfast items inside this cookbook. To say I was stunned would be the honest thing to tell you. I fell in love with the orange cranberry muffin recipe. (I am a sucker for those flavors together.) Some other honorable mentions may be buttermilk biscuits, crepe batter, easy waf [...]

    18. Disclaimer: This cookbook was provided through NetGalley for read-to-review.Breakfast is the one meal that I would usually skip because it wasn’t appealing to me. Being gluten-free, it was the same each day, but what I enjoyed with this cookbook is the variety of dishes that weren’t complex, but delicious, and everyone could love. There is a great introduction at the beginning of the book, with tips, resources, and information. The two basic flour recipes were useful, and easy to make so I c [...]

    19. First thing I love about a cookbook is giving tips. I'm so mess with baking. I can't get thru pastry. So I found a courage and try one of recipes.Corn Muffins. There's a thing, I hate corn except popcorn. So I make the recipe anyway. And I found volunteer ( My Dear Mom ). She try because she love corn with anything. She's old and she said she never tasted anything like that When she said something like that I got scared! OMG! So she said she like it :D After baking right my courage never dissapea [...]

    20. I got this book free from net galley for their review program. I chose this one because my mother was recently diagnosed with diabetes and was told to cut breads out of her diet so I got his thinking about how she could eat pancakes for breakfast one morning. I haven’t actually tried the recipes and unlike in my cake book, I feel as though this book has “normal” aka easy to find ingredients which is very appreciative since I live in a pretty small town. Some of the things in the book I hav [...]

    21. A good gluten-free cookbook that focuses on breakfast foods. The recipes all look rather tasty and I like that the flour blend is rather simple. I'd like to see how the recipes work with my favorite storebought blend.I loved that the author said that for dry GF baked goods to add a little more fat so that they don't turn gummy. Didn't know that. We're not ones who do reduced fat dairy anyway but it was nice to know that the added fat (butter, oil, sour cream) actually improves the end result. Can' [...]

    22. I received this book from the publisher in exchange for an honest review. This was pleasantly informative and full of ideas and great recipes. I would have liked if it used less processed sugar and maybe tried to simplify the recipes a bit but I do understand that baking gluten-free is a lot more difficult. The book is written for Americans so you'll need to arm yourself with conversion charts if you're not one.

    23. The best thing about this cookbook is that it gives you recipes for creating your own gluten free flours to keep in your pantry. A lot the recipes can be served to the whole family. The only criticism I have is the authors mention of cornstarch. Only pure cornstarch is gluten free and most of the brands found at the market have other additives or can be contaminated. We haven't found one that does not upset my gluten intolerant family members and have totally cut it out.*ARC given.

    24. I don't have to follow a gluten-free diet, but I am looking at ways to improve my health, and am trying to cut down on wheat and other grains. This book has lots of great information, and the recipes look wonderful. I'm stocking up on the required ingredients (not easy in a small Scottish village!) and plan to work my way through this.Review of an electronic copy from the publisher.

    25. I love breakfast foods and have been looking for recipes to make my faves in a gluten free way. These recipes are delicious and easy to follow. The couple that I've tried turned out great. A must-have for breakfast loving, gluten-free living people

    27. My daughter has celiac and this is a wonderful cookbook.I really liked that there was a lot of information about the background of eating gluten free.We tried a French toast and a muffin recipe already! The recipes are easy to follow and the pictures look yummy.
