    1. Dream Family is the fourth novel in author J. J. DiBenedetto’s Dream Series, and it’s the darkest one so far. It’s also the deepest and most hauntingly real, making it a great addition to this family-oriented story that goes from strength to strength.Sarah has always seemed such a strong, determined protagonist. Readers might imagine she can conquer every mountain, as might she. But now she starts to crack under the strain. Falsely accused, stripped from all she holds dear, she spirals int [...]

    2. Dr. Sara Alderson has a loving family and a wonderful career helping sick children feel better. However her life is turned upside down when the police show up at her office arresting her for prescription fraud. Sara is degraded and treated like the scum of the Earth as she is processed and forced to spend a night in jail. Forced to reach out for help, she calls the only man who would know the ins and outs of the justice system, Paul Sorrentino. When she is finally allowed to return to her family [...]

    3. Now that Sara's mom can also dream hop, Sara has another person that can help her out. The only thing I find confusing is, why did Sara's dreams start in college, her daughter Lizzie's started when she was a child and her mom's started when she was well into her adult life. None of the dreams came at the same age. Other than that, this was a good story. Sara's life is shattered when she gets arrested at her place of business for prescribing prescription drugs when she shouldn't be. While she spe [...]

    4. This one rates 5 stars as well, but the nature of what happens in this one to the MC makes this no longer a cozy too violent and (although not graphic) disturbing to be considered cozy. Still, it works, and the character does need to go through this experience to help bring about some of the fuller features of her psychic abilities to the table. Not sure the series could continue if this one did not happen - or at least not as compellingly. A movingly difficult read, but one that I did enjoy, bu [...]

    5. This fourth book takes a turn in a different direction than the others. Sara is just beginning her career in her pediatric practice when things go completely wrong. She is arrested, wrongly acused of something she did not do. Still, she is locked up and the expereince changes her, making her see the world differently and question herself. Sara has to face these challenges to come out on the other side or she may just crumble and lose everything she has worked so hard for all these years. This bo [...]

    6. I just had the privilege of reading Dream Family by J.J. DiBenedetto and I must say this is one that really takes you into the head of the character. JJ was so descriptive that you felt like you were living in the story! Sara is very endearing as a character and I had so much sympathy for her in the beginning. The jail sequences and dream sequences were amazing and so true to life. I would have to literally force myself to put this book down because I would get caught up in the story. My favorit [...]

    7. Dr. Sara Alderson and her family relocate to Washington DC. She and her husband have been offered prime jobs in their professions. On the very first day of running her own pediatric practice with a friend, Sara is arrested for prescription fraud. The next two weeks are the worst of Sara's life, and she actually blocks out some of the depredations she suffers.J.J. DiBenedetto's incredible talent is very visible in this fourth installment of the Dreams series. He takes the reader through the shock [...]

    8. this is book 4 in the series, and they do need to be read in order for better understanding. In this installment we follow them raising their three children and also a new struggle as soon as the new doctors office opens. we follow them on that struggled for most of the book it almost seemed overdone with all the flashbacks and trauma that was left. the end takes on a completely different note, one that you somewhat saw coming but then forgot about because it was never mentioned again. I listene [...]

    9. An excellent story. Fourth book in this series JJ DiBenetto has taken a very "touchy" subject and made it into an enjoyable tale. The story follows Sara throughout but there are quite a few little twists to keep you wondering what might happen. The story has a good ending with plenty of "happy ever after ". Definitely a book that's worth having on its stand alone value as well as part of the series.

    10. Well, that made me feel all the feels. I spent a lot of this book tearing up. Plus, anger and outrage. Sara gets arrested for something she didn't do. Being in jail for 24 hours breaks her, and I can't blame her for completely shutting down. But reading how Sara has to fix the part of her that broke was hard.I have really gotten attached to all these characters.

    11. This book got real! I hurt for Sara in this book, I really have become attached to this character, and what she went through just broke my heart. I cried a few times during this book, definitely my favourite book in the series so far.

    12. Great continuing book about a Doctor who has the worst thing in the world happen to her, not including the disturbing dreams.

    13. The entire series is good. Try one and see.I am on the 7th book in a row and still enjoying them. More realistic than most books where characters have a unique gift.

    14. I received a free copy of the audiobook and ebook for an honest review.Dream Family is the fourth book in the Dream Series. I listened to the first two books, Dream Student and Dream Doctor, and they were okay but I liked the third book, Dream Child, a lot more, so I was looking forward to reading this book. This is one of those reviews that is difficult to write because I am torn. When Sara is in jail for one night, she loses her identification and, at times, even forgets who she is, who her kid [...]

    15. Received from: J.J. DiBenedetto (in exchange for an honest review)/ Blog TourThis is the fourth book in a series. Though each could stand alone, there is greater understanding in reading all of them, in order. One the very first day of private practice, the police show up and arrest Sara for a crime she couldn’t have possibly committed in only four hours of business. Twenty-four hours in jail is enough to trigger old memories that leave her with a PTSD. Not only do her dreams help her solve the [...]

    16. I was given a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.Sara begins her first day in her new practice being arrested for prescription drug fraud. While Sara is in jail, she calls Paul Sorrentino, a shady mob character (introduced in Book 3) to help her get out of jail and clear her name. In return, she agrees to his terms of doing anything to help his young daughter Grace (also introduced in Book 3).This book was multi-faceted. It shows Sara at her most vulnerable as she deals with the [...]

    17. Book four of the Dream series is quite a bit different from the first three as this book is focused on Sara. There are still a few mysteries to solve and the dreams do help figure most of it out, however the real story had to do with what is going on inside Sara's head. After a traumatic incident happens to Sara she has trouble coping and her world seems to crash. The storyline deals with the struggles her family and herself have coming to terms with what happened and dealing with the repercussi [...]

    18. Once again, J.J. DiBenedetto has a phenomenal book to present! As always, I had trouble putting it down. I actually read this one straight through in one day.Dream Family picks up as Sarah is starting to practice pediatric medicine, and she finds that she has been accused of something she did not do! Sarah now has to fight for her own freedom.I feel so bad for Sarah, from the beginning of the series she really has sacrificed herself so much and now to find this obstacle in front of her?? It's eno [...]

    19. We have followed Sara thru college, medical school, residency, corrupt politicians, Murdering Professors, and The Mob. Her marriage and three children, one with her same gifts and through all of this she has stayed strong. Now after one horrifying night in jail Sara is lost. Lost inside her own mind. She is suffering more and more and cannot pull out. Who will she turn to for help? Will here dreams be her undoing or her salvation. Even when things start looking up her severe Post Tramatic Stress d [...]

    20. This series keeps getting better and better! From the end of Dream Child we know that Sara's mom also has the gift. Where the story could have become too complicated and convoluted, DiBenedetto does a great job of carefully weaving the stories together without holes or knots that stop the story.I think that this is the most emotional story in the series so far. Brian and Sara, truly the whole family, are faced with challenges that they never could have foreseen. But through it all they persevere [...]

    21. And the story continuesStarting her new life in DC has its bumps right off the bat. Being falsely arrested was just devastating for her, and having to call on shady characters from previous books just makes this one even better. I love that past characters keep getting reintroduced. Things just don’t seem to be going Sarah’s way and you just want to comfort her. Lizzie is still one of my favorites. Her innocence while dealing with having the gift is just refreshing. And she is such the prote [...]

    22. This is the fourth installment of the “Dream” series and while it can be read as a standalone, reading the books in order is necessary to completely understand the relationships of all the characters.Read full review in the 2014 June/July Double Issue of InD’tale Magazine.

    23. This 4th installment was the best of them all! It takes us through Sara's completely unexpected arrest, her struggles to stay strong, dealing with the dreams, and finding herself again. Amazing series all together! I'll be watching for more stories from this author, whether from this series or not. Review by Kendra @ FaeBooks
