    1. Disappointment. That's what this book is: Disappointment. What happened? I seriously do not understand what happened! Everything that went right with the first book went oh so horribly wrong with this one. In my review of the first book i gave it 4 Stars. It had enough good qualities to merit the rating and render it a refreshing read. So what the hell happened?!?!? To start off:- The pace: It changed. It went on so fast i actually felt lightheaded and wanted to vomit. Though the chapters remain [...]

    2. This review and more at my blog Rating: 2.5 out of 5 Series book: Yes Will I read the next book: YesI know that your first thought, like mine, is about that title. It's a little risky to have the second book have the same title of the first (excluding that little 2 on the end). I have to be honest it wasn't nearly as good as the first. Don't get me wrong it was still good, just not that good. Honestly, I had high expectations. The writing was kind of moody, if that makes sense. At one point, the [...]

    3. Wow wow wow! Did this sequel surprise me. So I read Super Dark 1 and thought I knew where the story was heading but boy - did this author lay it on me. Okay, so Sam enters a whole new world with a whole new set of characters. Stoneheath is richly developed with a whole back history that was pretty awesome. I quickly got wrapped up in the new plot thread and loved how intense things started to play out between Sam and Elliot it was really nice to see things develop between them properly and I lov [...]

    4. I thought this book was just as amazing as the first one! I can honestly say that this series now officially comes close to my new Harry Potter. Read my full review on Word Press here! mariazuppardi.wordpress/20

    5. Amazing.a character who actually acts her age. Samantha is the main character and she is 17. I really like to NOT like her, she is selfish and a twit. How can you not like her? She does most everything a seventeen year old would do. As for the book and the story ! Love Elliot, but I think there is a darker side to him.o many secrets and he's not really honest with Sam. My favorite has to be Frasier, he is kind, caring and wears his heart on his sleeve. I hope the final book doesn't leave me hang [...]

    6. Super natural supernessreally not as great as the first book, but intense and entertaining enough to get 4 stars out of me. Sam is taken to a whole new world of shape-shifters, and creatures only one would find in fantasies and folklore. she is forced to make a life-changing decision and finds herself in a deeper amount of trouble than what she's used to. plenty of twists and turns in this to keep you interested. eager to get to book 3.

    7. Hmm so, I was really looking forward to reading this because I enjoyed book 1 (which was free), I bought this without hesitation. Yeh, I'm struggling with Sam. She's a hypocrite (pay attention to her time with Fraiser but her behaviour with Elliot) and she's increasingly shallowAlso the book, whilst I understand is a fantasy, is expecting us to ignore certain improbabilities in the human world. Anyway I did enjoy it, just worried for the next one.

    8. This book takes a sideways step from the first book. It felt like there was very little character development, very little progress (but I don't know what book 3, so maybe it matters there). It wasn't as enjoyable as the first book. I'll read the third one because I hate not completing, but I hope it's better than this one was.

    9. Only just scraped a 2 star - the main character is becoming extremely annoying: fickle and mercurial. Deep passion for one thing one moment, for another the next (or maybe she is just a typical teenager?!) Will vol 3 redeem the time spent on this trilogy?

    10. Not my favorite book of the series by any stretch. I loved the Elliot/Sam scenes so the fact that they were apart for the majority of the book was frustrating to read. But when they did finally reunite, I was really interested again.

    11. I love this series and definitely want more. There is such depth in the characters. I will e reading this one again :)

    12. Love it! The story is more intense than the first book as we learn more of what Elliot has become and what his true intentions are. Now on to book three!

    13. I would give this a solid 3.5. I'm on to the final book in the trilogy. It kind of reminds me of Beauty and the Beast with a twist.

    14. A vividly creative, ongoing, paranormal tale for Older YA/New Adult. The dynamics of the storyline are edgy and exciting and the characters dramatic and flamboyant.

    15. Fast, fun YA read. Got the first one free, paid for the second, and then discovered the box set while looking for number three, which was less expensive overall. Bummer.
