    1. Dear Page MorganBetween sitting on the edge of my seat as the Waverly siblings constantly threw themselves head-first into danger, and sniffling over the star-crossed beautiful disaster that is Ingrid & Luc's relationship, I was wholly engrossed in this thrilling sequel. And that endingoh that ending! This ending brings new meaning to the word 'torture'. The author leads you along the 'home path' and you're thinking all is well in the worlduntil the ground opens up beneath you and you fall int [...]

    2. I love Luc. Just sayin'. The amount of effort it takes to write such a book needs to be recognized. The research would have made me dizzy. Page does such a good job with her mythology and her history, it's amazing! Can't wait to start book three!

    3. Having loved The Beautiful and the Cursed, I was eager to get to The Lovely and the Lost. With how events tied up in the previous book, I couldn't wait to continue on with the characters and see where the story would take me. The Lovely and the Lost, was a fantastic sequel, one even stronger than the debut, in my opinion. By the end, I was hooked line and sinker into this series. One of the most glaring parts of this sequel has to be the character development. Each and everyone of these character [...]

    4. An outstanding sequel, and dare I say better than the first book. Morgan does a fantastic job of refreshing our memories before delving into the story, which is something every reader appreciates. I loved encountering the various demons, and romance sizzles between characters at every turn. If you love Cassandra Clare's storytelling, you'll love Page Morgan's THE BEAUTIFUL AND THE CURSED series. This book is dark, passionate, thrilling, and it's set in historic Paris. In other words, it's perfec [...]

    5. 4.5 STARSTHE LOVELY AND THE LOST was a bombshell of a sequel!! Filled with everything imaginable, it made for a epic adventure that I absolutely loved exploring! Page Morgan steps her game up in this thrilling second installment, that had my heart-racing, hands-shaking, and fingers turning the pages faster then I could read them in awe and anticipation. Everything is more intense, more raw, more dangerous, and more suspenseful as ever, as the Waverly's explore their otherworldly gifts, their dem [...]

    6. This book killed me! I was still in love from the first book and this one made me fall even harder. Every character has something amazing about them and that makes then unique and it all shines through. Ingrid is in love with Luc. Amazing gargoyle, protector, independent , fierce, loyal Luc. But he starts to pull away. Ingrid knows why, but she can't stand being hurt and rejected. Then there is Vander bookworm, loyal, human also in love with Ingrid. He can love openly but doesn't mean he is the [...]

    7. Review courtesy of Dark Faerie TalesQuick & Dirty: Full of heart pounding action, epic romance, and one of the best cast of characters I have ever met. It’s just one of those stories you can’t get enough of and when you are finished you are left wanting so much more. This is one of my all time favorite series ever!!!Opening Sentence: The quiet ached. The Review:All the Waverly’s survived their recent run in with the evil fallen angel Axia. But just because they are no longer in immediat [...]

    8. Check out more reviews at fiction-freakI read The Beautiful and the Cursed last year, and while I did enjoy it, it just wasn’t my favorite book. But The Lovely and the Lost? Oh my freaking God, I’m just in love with the series now. Or Luc. Or both. Let’s go with both so that no one claims I’m just reading because of Luc (Okay, fine, a lot of my love for this series has to do with him. But not only him. I promise.)Well, since I’m on Luc, let’s talk romance.Obviously, I’m a bit obses [...]

    9. I have officially stopped breathing. My God. What a book. Every single character Page Morgan has introduced into the mix, each have a purpose and that's to propel the plot forward. None of them are just dead space or an excuse to use up more pages. They are all beyond unique and riveting, from the powers they wield to their own personality and charm. And that is what makes an excellent and strong set of characters. With those characters come the infamous couples. The first being Luc and Ingrid. E [...]

    10. 8/23/13WTF When did this cover happen?! I didn't know it was released! I like it though!03/19/14:I was so excited about this after reading the first one. Just knowing that Luc and Ingrid's story was going to continue was enough to get me excited. Then while reading the book I was reminded of this wonderful world that Page Morgan has prepared. You all know how much I loved the world that The Beautiful and the Cursed was set in. And because this one was set in the same world I obviously loved it j [...]

    11. Well I swallowed this book up in a day and a half. I was dying to read it apparently o_o lolThe problem, Ingrid was coming to realize, was that there were no hard and fast rules when it came to evil. It could change shape. Be one thing one moment and something else the next. It could be demon. Gargoyle. Human. Angel.Ingrid wondered what evil would look like the next time it came knocking. That quote really got me. How true it is! This book would've gotten 5 stars if it didn't change perspectives [...]

    12. It feels so good to give a well-deserved 5 stars to this exceptional sequel. Page Morgan has proven herself, once again, in this action laced follow up. There isn't much to say, except, if you haven't read this series yet -- GO READ IT. Now. It's my favorite series, and gothic young adult is my new favorite genre. It has just enough action, emotion, love, lust, hot guys, demons, and villains to keep you intrigued and flustered at the same time. My only critique is: that ending? Seriously? Why do [...]

    13. Re-read before The Wondrous and the Wicked. Original review here.Whoa. I am so glad I did a re-read. I forgot SO much.

    14. 9/6/13Not sure when the cover came up, but it's just as gorgeous as the first book. I really cant wait to read it.8/5/14 Omg that ending what why irindi whyyyyyyy :(

    15. BOOK REVIEW by Michelle 18th May 2014:RATING: 5 TEAM LUC STARS!!LOVED IT!This series keeps on rocking my kazbah.Yeah. I really dig this series. The cast of characters each have something to say and I am just falling for them all. It’s one of those series of books where all the characters both main and sub characters will have you wanting to switch pov’s to read more about where they are going in the story line, often.I am admittedly, Team Luc and Team Nolan for the girls, but it’s so hard n [...]

    16. Thank you to Hot Key Books for providing me with a copy of this in exchange for an honest review!Find this review and more on my blog The Rest Is Still Unwritten! The Lovely and the Lost is the rich and startling follow up to Page Mogan’s sensational debut The Beautiful and the Cursed, and is as good, if not better than it’s predecessor!Darkly gothic and magical, The Lovely and the Lost was a superb sequel to an unexpectedly brilliant debut and I just adored it. Having read the first novel, T [...]

    17. An ARC of this title was provided by the publisher in exchange for an honest review. This review can also be found at The Starry-Eyed Revue.Wow, what a mess! Not the book itself, just the way it ended. I'm still reeling from the adrenaline rush. I'm always a little wary of sequels because of the dreaded second book syndrome, where the author spends more time on world-building than plot and character interactions, but The Lovely and the Lost suffers from none of that. In fact, I'd wager that I en [...]

    18. Still Wonderfully Unique The Beautiful and The Cursed opened up an entirely new world for me, and this book continued into that world. What I love is that it is Morgan has a unique style of writing that draws me in, in such a way that I can't adequately describe the feeling. There are times when I pull myself out of her writing and know, that if it weren't for the beauty and feeling in her writing this story would not be what it is. I am not saying I don't love the story, because I absolutely do [...]

    19. I received this ARC while attending the Less than Three Conference in October 2013, I was in no way compensated for this review. When I saw Page Morgan's The Lovely and the Lost at the Less than Three Conference, for authors against bullying, I was quite happy! And I must say that Page really does pick the story up quite well, more than I expected. For in the first book, there was a lot of discovery going on for the Waverly siblings. Where those discoveries would take them was anyone's guess. But [...]

    20. I received a copy of this from the publisher via Netgalley in exchange for an honest review. No compensation was given, offered, or taken to alter this review. What can I say? Expectations were high after I finished The Beautiful and the Cursed. I'm insanely happy to say that they were all met and surpassed (not that there was any doubt; I mean, this is Page Morgan's work we're talking about here). The rich historical setting was just as immersive as it was the first time around. Morgan has a way [...]

    21. It isn´t a question of what´s changed that I didn´t like the 2nd installment s much as the 1st. It isn´t about what I missed either. The feeling was there, still. The silent, sneaking creep and the permanent goose bumps. It somehow attached itself to the read and the brilliant writing nothing but adds up to a great read. Paris comes alive again with all its gargoyly and churchly beauty. Everything I loved about The Beautiful and the Cursed was still there, obviously. Also, Grayson´s POV off [...]

    22. Ohh another great book! Great sequel!I love stories of demons, gargoyles and angels settled in ghotic era!Once again, in this book, we have more mystery!Everything is very dark, more creepy characters and new allies. Luc, is such a loyal, bad-ass and hot as ever! Nothing can't stop him!Ingrid and Gabby are still brave, even dealing with more and more oddities. I really like that they aren't like those annoying females characters all full of themselves, that wants to do everything and only by the [...]

    24. This is a very good book and it had so many twists and turns. I did enjoy it and I finished it one day, but some things did bother me. I don't like Vander and I was losing track of who was good and who wasn't.

    25. Yes others say it's better than book one, but I rate it equal and a captivating tale of gargoyles, underneath creatures and heavy handed angels on high. Oh and a host of human groups wanting to dabble in the other three. I am taking a break before plunging into book three.
