    1. 3.5 sad stars ☹“I know. You’ll kill me and gut me like a fish, and burn me, and drag me behind a horse in the field. I’ve seen it Emma – you’re badass.”This was a good end to the series, but I was a little upset by some of the deaths!Emma was unfeeling at points in this book, and once again I was a little shocked by the number of people she killed, and the fact that she felt the deaths justifiable. I know it’s a harsh world that they’re living in, but the way she felt nothing a [...]

    2. **4.25 Oh Hell NO Stars**Well, I have to say that this one by far was the best of the trilogy! The angst, the suspense, and the action could be found on every page you turned to.A great series EXCEPT for something happens in this book that totally destroyed my heart. UGHI freakin sobbed and didn't so much like the outcome of it.Sorryn't say much more because it will give everything away.

    3. Ok I read the first two back-to-back and then had to wait for book #3 to come out. Ive honestly have been crying my eyes out. Im waiting for the happy ever after but i don't see it coming. It's so good that i wanna keep reading and be strong for Emma but I'm taking a break to write this. The whole series had been great! I've even been reading more of Tara Brown's books- the Devil's Roses- and there's a definite change in writing. Both are very good but it's like two different authors. The Born T [...]

    4. I read the first two in the trilogy as well, they weren't great, but they held my interest enough for me to want to see where the plot went. The plot is good, it's the writing and editing that completely sucks. Tara Brown is the perfect example of what happens when a writer becomes successful and then starts cranking out a new book every other month or so (unless her writing has been this bad since the beginning, in which case I can't understand her popularity at all). I prefer quality to quanti [...]

    5. I did this to myself. Part of me really wanted this to be good and fix the problems in “Born to Fight”. The series had so much potential, in spite of some flaws, and got progressively worse. The typos and sentence structure were so bad in this one that it felt like it had been translated from another language by someone a translator who barely knows English. This should not happen in something sold to the public. A few are normal, though should try to be avoided. At least run spellcheck. The p [...]

    6. Oh, where do I start?! I have ONE negative thing to say about this book so I’ll go ahead and get that out of the way. Holy bad editing, Batman! It was very distracting. A few misspelled words, misplaced words and punctuation. I’m not the grammar police or anything, but it was very noticeable.Anyway, enough of that talk…time for the good stuff! I could not put this book down! I LOVED this series and Reborn was, in my opinion, an amazing ending. I thought it mostly believable. The story deve [...]

    7. I do not see how this book was 5 stars. There is no way. I am so sick and tired of Emma , she complains so much and she is always so cold and distant then the next minute she is high and mighty thinking she is better than everyone then she flips again and she loves them all. I was so tired of all the stupidity by the end of the book I was just glad it was over. Will and Jake fighting over Emma was ridiculous . The back and forth , her playing with their emotions without any regard for how they f [...]

    8. *sigh* as I wipe my snot cry off my face I will write this review. When I started this series I had no idea what I was in for. I didn't know that I would grow to care so much for these made up people that an author had in her head. I didn't know that when there was loss or hatred my body would consume itself with those emotions also. This story was the final one to this amazing series and it was nothing short of amazing. We journeyed with our friends to finally find freedom and escape a fear of [...]

    10. DNF @ about 40%Quite frankly, I don’t give a rat’s ass if she lives or dies or starts sprouting chickpeas from her nostrils. In the beginning this series had a hint of a plot, now it’s just angst and rape culture.

    11. Sit by a punching bag while holding a box of kleenex for this one! It is the epitome of what a conclusion should be! It has its up and down (so severe you'll need that punching bag to let out anger and frustration and you'll need those kleenex to dry your eyes and wipe your tears! I cannot adequately give a review of this book. One because I would get carried away and say something that would give away some MAJOR surprises and Two I could never do it justice! The end of the road for Emma, Jake, [...]

    12. I went through this trilogy like I was walking across fire. The world & characters captured me from the beginning. I'm so emotional from the ending that I really doubt I can formulate the words worthy of this review. Em is one of those characters that stay with you long after the books come to an end. She was indeed the hero of her own story. I see a lot of reviews about her going of half cocked and without a plan, but I see those incidences differently. She did have a plan, and that plan wa [...]

    13. Thank goodness that's over. First of all, you may be wondering why I continued to read all three books when I kept rating them so low. Well to be honest, I don't think these should have been three books. It seemed like Tara Brown wrote one long book and then decided to split it into three portions. Simply because the "end" of each book was just the end of a sentence. There wasn't really a cliffhanger, and it wasn't at the end of an event or activity that might make it seem like an ending. It was [...]

    14. ok I am going to say this and be done with it. This book needs some editing. I am not the editing fairy because believe me my grammar can suck when I type, but in this story I had to re-read some paragraphs to figure out what she meant. That being said, I enjoyed the story. I enjoyed it a lot. Minor spoilers in the review(view spoiler)[ I enjoyed this entire series. I know a lot of people had issues with the grammar but to me it seemed accurate we are talking about a post apocalyptic society, do [...]

    15. I knew I needed to prepare myself and pace myself for the third and final installment of the Born Trilogyy it didn't work out that way at all. I was completely caught off guard on multiple occasions and finished it in one day. I found myself many times cursing Tara Brown and the way her carefully written words made me have fits of ugly cries. I went through every emotion and then some. Emma and her bad girl attitude resurfaces full force as she tries hard to rebuild her cool exterior of "I don't [...]

    16. Holy typo's Batman. I understand typos happen. I understand writing a story is hard. I know it's impossible to please everyone. With that said, I couldn't sit down and read this novel like the previous two. The plot had been the only thing that kept me intrigued in this series and the third book just went down hill all the way. I question the author's views on love. The abusive relationship of Emma and Will angers me to my very core. My intuition has despised Will from the very beginning. I thou [...]

    17. I am so happy to be able to read and review all of Tara's books. She is an amazing author! I was luckily enough to read Born and Born to Fight, so waiting on Reborn was horrible. To be honest this was the best and worst one out of this series.d I don't mean that in a bad way either!! It was the best because Emma learns to love for her one true love, and learns the love of family. But the worst because of the unexpected that is threw out this whole book! I loved every word on every page. I'm sitti [...]

    18. I enjoyed this series. The author isn't afraid to go places that some are. There is love and romance, action, kick-butt female hero, heck the male hero isn't too bad either. Oh and don't forget the heartbreak. Twenty years ago a man made a child he never intended to love. Ten years ago the world ended and Emma turned her back on the man she believed was her father an attempt to survive. Eight weeks ago she discovered the truth about her family, including the sister she never knew she had. Last w [...]

    19. What can I say but waaaahhh I didn't want it to end!! I tried to pace myself while reading this to make it last longer and every so often I would look down at the progress bar and get sadder and sadder that I was coming close to the end. I LOVED this trilogy. As for the comments about all the errors I think those people got the wrong copy. Yes, there is still some errors in the most recent version, I think I found a dozen in the whole book which is not bad at all considering you can find a half [...]

    20. Tara made me cry! They were tears of sadness, hope and closure.Reborn takes you on the most wicked rollercoaster ever imagined. Just when you think the impossible just happened, it doesn't. When you think the bad guys have the upper hand, they don't. Tara did such an amazing job on Reborn that she doesn't know she has an amazing finish on her hands. Nowybe we can convince her to do a novella on Anna =)

    21. I have to admit I actually cried a little at the end! Great finish to the trilogy but I so didn't want it to end! I think I'd have been quite happy reading about these fictional people for years. This book does tend to follow the norm of ebooks and have a few misspellings but in no way does it take from the story. highly recommend.

    22. And an enjoyable last book of this series. Okay I was not really happy with the outcome but I did not mind. I do not always need to have perfect outcomes. I am getting sick of all those books where the heroine lives happy after all.Very refreshing and I might try something else written by this author.

    23. Wow Amazing series it kept me awake all night! I couldn't drop the book one minute I had to know what happened Lot's of crying, my eyes are all puffy! I hate that that was the last installment It was really captivating Let's wish for a new series by Tara Brown

    24. HeartbrokenSo upset Will died :( him and em were such a perfect couple. But I love this series so much, it should come in paperback versions too

    25. Ugh!!Okay, so I'm this book I loved the joining of Em and Star. That was, by far, the highlight to her character. I think Em's character was inconsistent at times, and would fluctuate to being completely out of character, to being a robot recluse with little empathy (though, still learning). The ending threw me for a loop. But, I didn't cry. I wasn't that invested in that HEA as some readers. I think the ending was appropriate to her character and her initial confused feelings between both broth [...]

    26. This series started with so much potential but went downhill with every book. I don't know how this has so many 5 star reviews. What finished it for me, Emma deciding she didn't know which brother she wanted. Come on now! She already slept with one brother. She chose at that moment. I don't have time to entertain a juvenile love triangle, in a mediocre book, that already has several problems. This is just too YA for what is advertised to a mature audience. I wanted this series to be good. I want [...]

    27. WowI loved this series, and I’m infinitely glad it was recommended to me. Less of a zombie book, more of a “what happens way after the zombies come” kinda book. I love the characters that developed, each in their own way. I will adamantly say “thank you!!l” to the author for providing the alternate ending, bc the original one super sucked. (Not the writing, it just didn’t have the resolution I feel the characters deserved. I know not everyone gets a happy ending all the time & th [...]

    28. Good read Really enjoyed this trilogy. I was disappointed the author wrote an alternate ending because the first one was perfect and went along with the theme of the book. Unfortunately I read the alternate ending and it wasn't great. The book is easy to read and more young adult than I usually read but the characters were interesting and it was never dull. I'll be looking forward to reading more from this author.

    29. Wonderful seriesWonderful conclusion. Still love all the characters and their development. The ending included an alternate which I didn't find necessary. I believe I could have imagined that by myself instead of re-reading the exact same thing over again. Anyways, thoroughly enjoyed it.
