    1. so close to awesome. but I didn't finish it. the story crapped out. instead of ice queen, she was all cuddles and "let's screws" -- ah ok. and then what? the side plot was a total distraction. it just gave up being a beauty and the beast story after ice skating scene and was Dow. hill from there. the dialogue was good. the inner monologue was hilarious. this could have been so awesome. it just got lazy and became generic romance novel that you don't give two ----- about. I stop reading at 80%, ju [...]

    2. For being 'overeducated,' the author has a ridiculous amount of typos in this story. There also are some big plot leaps that only worked if I didn't think too hard. That being said, this was hilarious! The dialogue is snappy and inner thoughts of all characters unique. mature content, HEA, mild BSDM

    3. When I first started this book, I was tethering between a 2 & 3 star rating tbh, but as I continued to tredge on I couldnt help it. This book was absolutely great. It was a roller coaster, and no I don't mean emotional highs and lows, but more of omfg what the hell am I reading, I need to stop reading, I can't stop reading, and just I don't want to stop reading til I've consumed this book in all of it's quirky awesomeness. The characters grow on you and you come to realize not is all as it f [...]

    4. It was fantastic!! except for all the typos, JESUS LORD the typos!!!! >.< Not as bad as the first book but still the same he/she/insert-random-pronoun-here confusion and the just-ran-it-through-spellcheck-I-don't-care-that-that-word-doesn't-make-sense *gloriousness* <--- that's sarcasm by the way.Still same as always, I love this author's humor and characterization. The plot was interesting, etc. etc. FIX THE TYPOS!!!

    5. I was severely disappointed in this book. The beginning was good, I liked Kai, even though I can understand why people might find him taxing, but somewhere in the middle, the whole book went off the rails - I can't understand why they acted like they did. It's like half the cast changed and the only things that stayed the same were the names.(view spoiler)[The councilman who suddenly started acting like a bored child? The sex that suddenly happened - even for friends with benefits they had to be [...]

    6. DNF, too cheesy.First, we're introduced to Kai. What to say about him? The author spent a whole chapter talking about how plain and boring he is. To summarize his description of himself, he says that he's neither liked nor disliked, and yet everyone chooses to dislike him? I didn't understand that. I wouldn't blame them if they didn't like him though. He doesn't bother to learn the names of people who have lived in the village his whole life, never listens to people when they talk, and leaves ho [...]

    7. I enjoy beauty and the beast stories and this one is such a unique take on the tale. The "beast" in the story is the female character, a evil queen who terrifies the land. The "beauty" is Kai, an atypical hero who's interested in archeology and who everyone in town thinks is a weirdo. Taken prisoner in the Snow Queen's icy castle, Kai soon begins melting her cold façade. I'd recommend this book for fans of supernatural romance or fairy tales.

    8. If you are a fan of quirky, funny, paranormal romance, this book is for you. Kai, an unlikely hero, is a nerd who cares more about the past than the present. When The ice hearted Snow Queen threatens the village, Kai is "volunteered" to fix her damaged artifact. He finds much more than a job fixing the. hall of Eternity, however and soon melts the Snow Queen's heart. This lighthearted tale is full of great sex, funny dialogue and quirky characters.

    9. I don't even want to finish chapter one after the typos/grammatical errors so far. Thanks to my Kindle Unlimited trial, I did not actually pay for this book. I honestly just want to read the original, and was looking for a free copy.
