    1. This book barely gets 3 stars from me. It started out fairly decent, but Anna, the main female lead, her *constant* whining and threats of vomiting every 2 minutes. Her wishy washy ways. Her running away, running out, ducking and hiding, then all at once popping up and confronting, constant blaming of everyone and taking none herself then you add in, if she wasn't whining she was demanding of everyone including Cade (who by the way struck me as a very weak Dom not something i'm used to in the le [...]

    2. ~4.5 Stars~Master is an amazing story about love and devotion. It grabs your heart and doesn’t let go until “The End.” I love that it shows a different side of BDSM. The one that isn’t shown as often and it just as important; the emotional side and how it relates to each couple differently. Anna is a strong woman, but due to not talking to her husband Cade felt like she was being torn apart. She loved him but for some couldn’t bring up the fact that she had issues in their relationship [...]

    3. Anna McCourt, formerly known as Diana McCourt, left her husband fifteen years ago with a note that only contained one word. “No.” They never divorced and they never spoke, as her husband Caden never knew where to find her. Now, Caden has found her. Determined to speak with her and get an explanation, he offers up his experience as a Master to do a demonstration at the BDSM club that Anna is a receptionist for. After all is said and done, Anna moves back in with Caden, despite her fears and r [...]

    4. I received this book for free in exchange for an honest review. This does not affect my opinion of the book or the content of my review.Master by Raven McAllan offered an interesting twist on the typical BDSM romance book that intrigued me. Instead of dealing with a couple first meeting and falling in love, Master dealt with a couple already married but having difficulty with their relationship. I was pulled into the story from the opening page and really wanted the couple to reach their happily [...]

    5. Reviewed by Amy WBook provided by the publisherOriginally posted at Romancing the Book“Define normal. One person’s normal is the next person’s kink.”Those words set the stage for conflict in Master by Raven McAllan. Fifteen years have passed since Diana McCourt walked away from her Dom husband, Caden, and the BDSM lifestyle. She has changed her name, but the ties between the two have never been severed.Cade finds Diana/Anna working as a receptionist for a BDSM club (of all places). He is [...]

    6. Night Owl ReviewOriginal Review Published here: nightowlreviews/v5/RevMaster is the first book in the Dommissimma series by Raven McAllan. Caden finds his wife fifteen years after she left without a word. He wants her back so he goes to claim her. Diana, or Anna as she is called, is thrown into a tailspin. She tries to face her demons but are the too strong to overcome. This is an emotional gripping novel of a side of BDSM that does not seem to be told, maybe because the fun stuff is so easy to [...]

    7. I am impressed. I have read my fair share of BDSM books and do not recall one that deals so well with the need for communication between a Dom and his sub as Master does. Most cautionary tales that revolve around the BDSM lifestyle tend to focus on its misuse by people who use the title of Dom as an excuse or justification to be physically abusive to their partner. That is not the cautionary tale Ms. McAllan shares with us, but this one is just as important. In Master, we witness the breakdown of [...]

    9. I rated this book 3 stars, and before you think that's bad, its really not.  I'm sure you read the synopsis, so I won't rehash it, but I was left expecting a lot more in terms of character development and the interaction between them. Don't get me wrong, this book has a great storyline and great plot. It succeeded in making me read the entire book in one sitting. I think the story had the potential to make this an epic BDSM romance and because the characters were weak, it ended up falling short [...]

    10. When Diana (Anna) walked away from her husband she did it with one word, ‘no’. Fifteen years later she’s working at a BDSM club and is still scared of what Cade wanted from her.Cade hasn’t seen or heard from Diana since she left him fifteen years ago. He discovers her working at a club that caters to the exact thing she fears. When she comes face to face with him all her fears come to the surface again. But she still loves Cade and she misses him. Can she overcome her fears to heal their [...]

    11. Since posting this review I cannot count how many times I've gone back and read it again and every time I've loved it just as much as the first. I am so happy that the next book in the series, featuring Athol, will be out soon :) This book had me gripped from start to finish and now I want to go back and start it all over again. The story revolves around Cade and Anna. It is a love story first and foremost and a very moving one at that. Anna left Cade because, whilst she loved him as her husband [...]

    12. First, I have to say that I couldn't put this book down once I started reading it. I stayed up till 5am to read this. It was that good. This is a love story with an intense emotional roller-coaster for Cade and Anna. Sometimes fear can get a person in a vice so strong it stops them from thinking rationally. It can make people run too. And that's what Anna does when she'd scared. But this isn't a fear of creepy crawlies. This is a fear of your fundamental values destroying your relationship with th [...]

    13. Wow. Just wow. This book is a really good beginner BDSM book. It goes through the "good' in all books but this one goes through the bad and shows that triggers are okay and with the perfect Dom the trigger can be worked through or taken care of. This beautiful story brings together a couple who is in the lifestyle and really deserves to be happy but there is something deep down keeping them from it. I can't explain it because I don't want to spoil it but the journey she goes on and the help from [...]

    14. This book had me gripped from start to finish and now I want to go back and start it all over again. The story revolves around Cade and Anna. It is a love story first and foremost and a very moving one at that. Anna left Cade because, whilst she loved him as her husband and Master she was unable to participate in public scening and demonstrations and didn't want Cade to, either with her or with others. If there can be any reconciliation then Anna needs to tell Cade how she feels and compromises wi [...]
