    1. I purchased this book on my Kindle because it was free and I thought "why not?" It sounded like it could be a good little romance story. I finished it only because I finish every book I start. But I really shouldn't have. The story wasn't very developed and I didn't really buy into the supposed chemistry between the characters. I wanted to like them, but couldn't get invested in the story line. The first half of the book and the second half felt like entirely different books. In the second half [...]

    2. I should probably give it 2.5 because it was a $2 audiobook, which is obviously a deal, but for me it was pretty much boring, drawn out, and implausible. It probably would've been more tolerable if we didn't have to listen to repeated scenes like descriptions of dipping fries into catsup and days of clothes shopping. I hate shopping in real life, let alone reading about it at great lengths. The heroine was as exciting as dirty dishwater even though we were told repeatedly that she was utterly fa [...]

    3. 3 Stars! 4 for the first half, 2 for the second! Fun beginning and then it just got ridiculous. Emma was such a pushover she did whatever Jack's 'people' told her to do. Jack basically ignored her in the second half of the book, and had no backbone when it came to his parents, Emma handled them better. What happened?! They were so great together when they first met! Maybe the next book will be betterhopefully. The narratorht so much!

    4. Did a thirteen-year-old write this book? Honestly now. The premise sounded nice and light and sweet, and the story starts off with promise. But from the moment Jack's, um, failure to even neatly dispose of a condom hit my Kindle, my WTF-face came out and never really went away. I'm not sure why I kept reading, except maybe to read excerpts out loud to my husband and to see if it got better (or worse). It got worse.I'm not being sarcastic when I say it reads like something a thirteen-year-old wou [...]

    5. I hate giving a book one star but honestly there wasn't much choice. This book read like a first draft. The story was underdeveloped and sentence structures were awful. It read I went to the door. I grasped the door knob and I opened the door. Three I's in that and three doors. I don't even want to know what she would have seen beyond the door. That's not an exact quote but it still fits. The sex scenes were a bit awkward to read. They tried about ten positions in one time of having sex but I di [...]

    6. I'm really wondering if I read a different book because this was one of the worst I read this year. Somehow I'm missing how others saw this as a 4 or 5.The premise might have worked but the writing was sophomoric. I cringed wile reading some of the dialog. It was painful.

    7. This was a really sweet and simple summer romance type of book. I wasn't quite sure exactly what to expect, but I really liked it.It starts quick and it took a little time to catch up, but after that it was very smooth and enjoyable. I think the thing I liked the most is that it seemed really real (I needed to add that adjective to explain just how real this is). I mean, the idea of randomly meeting a billionaire on vacation is a little out there, but that's what's so nice about the story, too. [...]

    8. I am just not having much luck with the books I've been reading lately. This book started off well and for the brief period they were in the island it was actually kind if sweet. It's once they came back to the states that everything went awry.*** spoiler alert ***So okay, they get fake married, someone releases the pictures and the press comes out in full force. That part I got. Please explain to me though why Jack was so okay with all of this. He even seemed happy that they were caught and Emm [...]

    9. The First of the Kisses Books! If you enjoyed this, please pick up Kisses From Jack The Other Side of a Billionaire Love Story Saltwater Kisses Book 2 It's the first half of Saltwater Kisses, but from Jack's point of view!I love this book. It holds a very special place in my heart. Saltwater Kisses stayed in the Top 100 list for over a month. I never in a million years thought that I would write something that sold that well. I am incredibly honored that people thought my story was worth reading [...]

    10. First reaction: What the hell? This book has a very abrupt ending. We get to the conflict aspect and one short line is all it takes to resolve this whole thing and bam! The book ends at 67%. This was a very unsatisfying and rushed ending. This being free made it easy to take a chance on this. I thought it had a good start that fizzled out fast. The story seemed rushed and instead of drawing out a fun filled vacation, this reduced most of the trip into footnotes of a few short sentences. And then [...]

    11. A lot of other reviewers have basically said exactly what is wrong with this book, so I am just going to rehash it quick like.~Awesome beginning. Cute love story.~The trip home was the beginning of the end of that cute story. The IMMEDIATE trip to NY was unnecessary. ~The paparazzi are assholes, but I doubt they're out for world domination, so a couple of annoying questions and pictures ARE NOT GOING TO KILL YOU. So being held captive indoors at all times was unnecessary.~What in the ever loving [...]

    12. Not the best romance. I mean. starts on vacation so sure have a good looking guy to sleep with as a vacation fling. But of course she falls in love! Then people find out and Emma must go to NYC to be safe. Okay, but then she never sees Jackybe an hour a day. What a life! So romanticor not. I just seemed horrible. That plus apparently she cannot do anything but work for his company or do nothing all daye has to give up all her dreams for him. I don't like that, especially when he doesn't have tim [...]

    13. Wow, this book was boring! In short the characters didn't develop and I didn't feel the love connection between Emma and Jack! In my head I felt like a monotone voice was dictating this story. I really wanted to like it, but it just kept coming up short :(

    14. This was a really sweet and simple summer romance read that I definitely recommend. The book starts off in a quick fashion so you would want to pay attention so your not having to play alittle catch up Just to give you a heads up, if you enjoyed this book, then you most definitely want to pick up Kisses From Jack The Other Side of a Billionaire Love Story Saltwater Kisses Book 2 --It's the first half of Saltwater Kisses and its in Jack’s POV. This story is a tropical fairy tale. It’s a poor [...]

    15. This was a tropical fairy tale. poor girl meets rich guy on beach. A photo is leaked and the rest is history Here is my problem with the book CHAPTER 15,page 100. "I liked Rachel. She had a subtle sense of humor that caught me off guard. She was fiercely protective of Jack, and the love and respect she had for him only made me like her more. She had grown up in a smaller town than mine, and we spent much of our shopping excursions swapping stories about home. She was quickly becoming the older s [...]

    16. This was one of those free book deals that I got in an email, so I blew through it in a day, taking a vacation from Sci Fi and Epic Fantasy. And what could be a better vacation than a light hearted romance that takes place at a vacation resort?I enjoyed the characters, the set up, the early relationship. The start of this book is greatEVER, and this is a big however, this book has no resolution!!! I will use multiple exclamation points to convey my anger and frustration at being sucked into a bo [...]

    17. A mix of delicacy with eroticism.Emma is an ordinary girl who wins a contest on the radio to a paradise. There she meets the gorgeous and charming Jack Saunders, who soon has an affinity.Their days are spent together on the island and they realize that the attraction is mutual. In an act without thinking, they get married on the island and thought about keeping it as a secret of their own. And say goodbye.Emma never imagined that her Prince Charming was actually the famous billionaire in the oil [...]

    18. This story was kind of dull to me. It was great at first, you could feel the connection between Jack and Emma. You could feel them falling in love. However, when Emma comes to New York City, I just feel like their connection was lost. We don't get to read a lot of their time together and most of it is skipped over. I was a little annoyed because for more than 75% of the book we really don't get to know if their marriage is real or not. Emma kept saying that it wasn't legal and then she said Jack [...]

    19. I liked the beginning, the romancing on a far away island for just a great vacation. And I think the book should have left it at that. I didn't like the rest of the book. I found it absolutely unbeliveable. Why on earth would Emma want to spend time with Jack when all he could give her was an hour of time, which was constantly interrupted? He's a CEO and doesn't know how to turn off or mute his phone? Was he really the only worked for the company? Sure seemed like it or then he knew absolutely no [...]

    20. "Our eyes connected, and i was Cinderella meeting my Prince."It's worth just 2 stars, in my opinion, because of all the cliches. The famous billionaire meets the nobody girl from Iowa, they fall instantly in love, (view spoiler)[they get married after 2-3 days, his family tries to bribe her off, they have a fight, she goes come, he comes after her and that's it. They live happily ever after. (hide spoiler)]I rolled my eyes a few times at things like:"those thoughts faded to nothingness as his ton [...]

    21. Contemporary vacation romance that is carefree and silly while subtly becoming more then just a vacation fling. Miss Emma LaRue is a sweet and kind woman that is just starting to find her way in life as she had just applied to Vet school after finding her love for animals while working as a Vet assistant in her small town Iowa background so when she wins this expensive vacation to an exclusive tropical island where she meets her soul-mate who she would have never met in 'real' life because he is [...]

    22. “Saltwater Kisses” was a change of pace from one of my normal reads. I found this book on a blog listed under their freebies. I started it one night and fell in love with Emma’s story. She was such a realistic character with a venerable side. Just like in any budding romance self doubt can be huge. Now Jack on the other hand was a character I loved to hate and hated to love. He made me want to scream at him to get it together for Emma. This was a sweet love story that makes you see that lo [...]

    23. A sweet Cinderella romance.Very frothy. The chemistry between the hero & heroine was mild but the story held my attention.I liked that the hero & heroine got to talk about their lives with each other.I was not impressed with the paparazzi always following them about. See it too often in Cinderella modern romances and roll my eyes when authors write it.

    24. This book was free on so I grabbed it and it turned out to be the biggest waste of my time. I cannot stand stories like this and pretty much have no words for how stupid I felt Emma was and how unimpressive I thought Jack was. Definitely a series I will not be continuing.

    25. Yikes, terrible writing! I couldn't get more than a few pages in before shelving the book as DNF. The writing was so abrupt and awkward. Every other sentence was "I [insert verb]"

    26. I was waiting for her to think for herself but he was always more important ugh characters with no self respect are the worst
