    1. Now, this one was a real surprise. I just wanted a quick sweet distraction with a garanteed happily ever after, before I returned to more exhausting and possibly depressing reads and then i stumbled upon this book. The characters are a lot of fun! Heather is spunky and sassy to the point of being rude (occasionally), but so is Whip. The ensemble of side characters are just as charming and unique (I just say Molly! xD).My only complaints are about the ending. (view spoiler)[ The fact that bank rob [...]

    2. A sweet read, I love romance stories where everything is super happy all the way through. Such a nice change.

    4. Clean Read - PG"Well, now, Heather . . ."Whip is SUCH a cowboy and I loved him! Heather is a force to be reckoned with - some of her is just over the top, but it's a western romance and that always ensures a bit of belief suspension. Good story - I liked it. I did think the ending was a little rushed.

    5. Cute story at first but it then seemed to be rushed. The whole story about his beloved wife was killed and then he proceeded to say that she didn't really show him love and affection and also how the day he returns he is instantly just in love with Heather just didn't flow with me. The author had us believe he was mourning his late wife and that he loved her very much and then as soon as he met Heather that just went out the window and it have the impression that his late wife didn't even exist. [...]

    6. May 4, 2015Not Quite What I ExpectedI actually wanted to give Wyoming Heather a 3 1/2. I reviewed Montana Man and loved the fast moving pace and the beautiful descriptions. Although the descriptions in Wyoming Heather are vivid, too and I loved Whip, I was a bit disappointed in the large chunks of "telling" rather than putting info into dialogue. I agree the beginning moved slowly, but unlike other reviewers, I had no problem with a heroine who ran a ranch solo. Back in the 1800s, many women we [...]

    7. I absolutely loved the characters in this book. Heather is a strong, independent woman of resolution, kindness and compassion. she doesn't take guff from anyone yet has this huge heart. Whip is very likeable, flawed, strong and genuine. Their story together is very clean and there were so many twists and turns throughout their adventure together. I felt like I was there. I felt like I had experienced slaughtering the steer with the broken leg in the beginning. Dirty job but Heather faced it with [...]

    8. Heather's father's legacy was innovative farming practices. Heather's was animal husbandry. Heather meet her returned neighbour Whit rancher & lawman. Sparks flew as he liked to rile his pretty neighbour up but still grieves for his murdered wife. Then two small stowaways further bind the two rachers.I love Heather's strength, determination, inovation & sass. The characters have depth, warmth, see beyond the surface & find gold in friendships.

    9. DeAnna Smallwood robs me of sleepHer characters are so real that we care about them. Sometimes we care so much we keep reading into the wee hours even knowing the alarm is set for six a m.

    10. Good book Another great book that I enjoyed very much. Deann Smallwood is a great author and I am looking forward to her next book

    11. Great read,Enjoyed the story developing and their two lives coming together! Fun twists and adventure along the way! Interesting how to do this and that along the ride!
