    1. A brilliant, brilliant historical novel for kids. Or well, young adults and middle grade. This book is well researched, the story line is good, you really feel for the main characters, and it leaves you wanting more. I did quite enjoy this and I would recommend it for kids to learn more about the war. 4 out of 5 stars. Very good. **I received this book in a GoodReads giveaway in exchange for an honest review.**
