    1. Picked up a remaindered copy of this gem of a recipe book; around the World in 50 buns just about sums it up. There are sweet and savoury bun recipes as well as plain and festival buns. The author's "chatty" style is appealing though it does tend to be a little vague in some of the instructions, which made this beginner/improver in the baking stakes a little nervy. A straightforward design left hand page picture/ right hand recipe and ingredients and beautiful photos throughout are appreciated. [...]

    2. I've always thought rolls/buns were fussy and not worth the trouble this book changed my mind.Recipes are spot on, throughly fascinating flavors, hints of story and history. Gorgeous photos.

    3. This is a great book that gives you plenty ideas of yummy buns to make for any number of things. I've tried some of the recipes and they have tired out beautifully. There are plenty of tips for beginning bakers or for those who aren't used to working with yeast (like myself). A really awesome book to have in your baking arsenal!
